Unpowered grass site
Liked We loved this campsite! We were a small group of friends, most with primary school age children and a mix of camper vans and tents in the non-electric field. The campsite was really lovely, plenty of space so there wasn't a problem with noise, great that the kids could use the little play area and the facilities were really clean and the showers super hot! We will definitely return!
Disliked Nothing, we loved it all!
From the manager: Shirley thank you so much for your lovely review of our campsite. I'm so pleased you loved it here and hopefully we'll see you again soon!

Liked The serenity, the view, the shower facilities, the staff

Best shower facilites by far.Let down by music past midnight
Unpowered grass site
Liked First time ever had music playing in toilet block on a camp site. The shower block had toilet, wash basin and hair dryer inside each shower cubicle, lovely hot water, couldn't fault showers or toilet facilties. Nice and clean to.
Space between tents so not overcrowded when we went in July
Access to coastal path with lovely views, mostly flat walk to Westward Ho.
Disliked 2 nights of loud music and roudy singing from one group of campers in next field which went on until past midnight each night (finally stopped 12.20/12.15) with one man swearing loudly several times in every sentence on both nights. Another camper spoke to them day 3 telling them wouldn't tolerate anymore. We were in the next field and even then it was loud to us. Most campers are tolerant of perhaps a Friday or Saturday night as people let of steam, but not midweek or more than one night.
From the manager: Oh my goodness I am so so sorry to hear this! No-one came and told us at the office so we had no idea this was going on. If we had known we would have dealt with it - we don't allow campers to spoil other people's holidays under any circumstances and there certainly wouldn't have been a day 3 for them!
I hope this didn't spoil your time with us and you enjoyed what our area has to offer. We would love to welcome you back again and thank you for your review.
