  • Scenic and award-winning site filled with flowers
  • Two lakes for coarse fishing plus nature reserve
  • Heated pool, crazy golf, playgrounds, games room and licensed shop
This fabulously floral site has been giving a warm welcome for more than 50 years. The grounds are blooming lovely – even the fishing lakes are filled with lilies – and it’s easy to see why Trevella Holiday Park is a regular winner of the Newquay in Bloom contest, and why so many people come back here every summer. Little buds can shoot around the heated outdoor pool, paddling pool, crazy golf, games room and playgrounds for different ages. There’s free coarse fishing in the two lakes and a pretty nature reserve to explore and a licensed shop. The roomy pitches sit within handsome parkland and the high-quality amenities include family bathrooms, baby changing and a laundry room.

Liked: Very average Holiday park.
Toilet block was ok.
Park was good for kids as we where close to it.

Disliked: Toilets block was on the small side.
Showers were very hot and difficult to shower small children.
No extra cooking items. E.G microwave.

Camping pod

Liked: Strategically positioned to drive and visit different areas.
Staff on the positive side

Disliked: We stayed in a wooden pod, not cleaned.
Spider webs almost everywhere, around corners and bed frames.
We had a spider web with a dead fly in it above the double bed,you can't miss that when cleaning, unless you don't do the cleaning at all.
Biscuit crumbs on the bed mattress.
Very dusty.
Across us where some young group, noisy and very explicit behaviour, very disturbing when you travel with young kids,we had to stay with the doors closed as the reception couldn't assist in any way.

Communal bathroom a bit far ,clean, but be aware of the taps, they will splash your beautiful clothes no matter the position or how far you are from the sink.

Fully-serviced concrete slab caravan site (premium)

Liked: Incredibly tidy and well kept site. Serviced pitches were large, level and spacious.
Shower blocks were clean and tidy and always had hot water and well pressured showers.
The site was quiet after 10:30 which was great.
Shop on site was useful but and the Piskie Inn (when open) was fun to stop by.
Friendly and accommodating staff.
Didn’t use the pool as frustrating to try and book and even more frustrating when told it was fully booked but only a family swimming 🤷‍♀️
Dog walking field was a plus and the direct walk to Crantock village/beach/ Newquay was a bonus.
The bus stop just outside the campsite was also a great plus.
Very well situated site to travel to different places

Disliked: Our Pitch was 54 was by the park (kids play area) Bins and toilets.
Our Caravan was constantly hit with footballs and children coming to retrieve from under the van.
People tended to congregate by the bins for a chat from 6:30 am which was noisy and woke us often.
The bins being changed was very early in the morning and very noisy.
The landscape team decided to mow the lawn on our pitch when we were having a nap.
We are pretty easygoing but Our sleep and relaxation was disturbed quite a lot which is not want you want on Holiday.
We would return but not to the same pitch.

Powered grass site

Liked: Trevella Holiday Park is a great site with all of the amenities you would hope for and more. With the inclusion of a camp shop with a diverse choice of stock and an on site pub this is a great site. No matter where you are, you are never too far away from a WC/Wash/Shower block, with drinking water and dirty water disposal facilities close by.
A great place to stay.

Powered grass site

Liked: The site was immaculate. The staff were friendly. And the proximity to Fistral Beach for surfing was fantastic, only a 45-minute seriously-scenic walk across the Gannel Estuary - just make sure to check the tide times as it's said to be only crossable without getting wet at low tide (even though we were there 2 hours after). The outdoor pool looked pristine as well, and the little bar on site looked good, not that we had chance to use either on our short stay, but the site was fab so could well see us returning.

Disliked: Nothing

Liked: The campsite was clean and pitches good size.
We arrived and booked separate to other family members but the site were able to accommodate us being close to each other.
Location was good and within a few minutes we were at the beach.

Disliked: One set of the wash facilities were out of action.

Local attractions

A quick meander along the verdant country lanes and pathways around Trevella can lead in various directions: a historic smugglers’ inn, a beach, Crantock’s thatched cottages and pretty village church, or to the Gannel estuary to fish, paddle, birdwatch or make the short hop on the ferry to Newquay. The latter probably needs no introduction, but on top of its famous beaches, it has a zoo, aquarium, farm park, boating lake and miniature railway – plus swimming pools (with flumes) and golf courses. This being Cornwall, visitors will find no shortage of ace attractions less than an hour away. Recommendations include losing oneself in the gardens at Heligan, taking in an atmospheric show at the open-air Minack Theatre, on the cliffs overlooking the sea; heading into the Eden Project’s massive crater, to examine the exotic flora in the jaw-dropping megadomes; and some painterly perusal at the Tate Gallery in St Ives. Then there are adventure parks, National Trust properties and open gardens galore; plus a lively programme of local land- and sea-based events, from festivals to carnivals, and regattas to traditional Cornish gig racing.
