What customers say
Family-run site gets a thumbs up for roomy pitches, spotless amenities, and top-notch staff. Handy for Cornwall, it's got a well-stocked farm shop and a ripper vibe. A few saw minor snags with shower setups and Wi-Fi costs, and the airport means the odd bit of plane noise. Still, most keen to head back!

Great campsite, great facilities - all around a great place to stay.

Liked Really spacious field and good facilities. Pizza and coffee van was great - would definately come again!
Disliked Airport is right next to the campsite so can be loud but planes aren’t coming in and out too regularly, just something to be aware of.

Love to stay again! We will be back next year!

Liked Great views of the airfield and nice and close to Newquay. Lovely little farm shop ( not too expensive either). Food van on site that changes its menu each night - Friday, jacket potatoes, Saturday, pizza, Sunday, fish and chips etc.
Basic toilet block but staff came in to fill up toilet rolls daily. Could do with a clean on the ceiling- lots of large spiders.
Showers lovely and hot just need a clean during busy times.
Cute little park for kids.
Disliked Grass was a bit long being the end of the summer so wet feet on the morning walks.
Google maps tried to take us further down the road.

Liked An absolute pleasure staying at your campsite
The staff were always happy and smiling
And the facilities were kept to a very high standard
Disliked Being woken by random planes taking off
😂😂
But one thing that needs sorting are the shower heads the streams were all over the place except the user

Liked Clean pitch , nice and quiet until the planes went over and loved that even more .
Clean facilities, brilliant little shop with fresh foods . Staff absolutely lovely and welcoming. Lovely location ( make sure you love planes like we do ) not far from beaches will be back .
Disliked We got 2 pitches for us and my son and his wife , they were large pitches and after seeing 7 tents and 7 cars on one pitch I think we should of done the same and used one pitch for us both couples , next time we shall book one pitch .

Children's playground
Daily huts selling food
Friendliness of all the people who work there
Very close to watergate bay, bus to Newquay drops right outside campsite as does Padstow!
Disliked Showers dont work properly, they all need redoing- spurting in different directions unable to get a proper shower
Loudness until sometimes 12 midnight, I appreciate its a family place e.t.c and slightly out of sites control, it does ask for everybody to be respectful but some parents allowed thier kids out at the park until come 10.30pm screaming and not watching them, was slightly frustrating!
WiFi wasn't free! £10 for a week is expensive!

On the cleanliness grounds we wouldn’t use this site again

Liked Nice place and the owners are lovely, there was a lot of dog mess where we needed to pitch up but the owners sorted it straight away, close to beaches and watching the planes going over is brilliant.
Disliked The cleanliness of the showers and toilets really let this place down, the showers aren’t great anyway but overflowing bins with sanitary wear left on show as they were so full, toilets were pretty disgusting tbh and the shower floors were filthy, a used plaster was still in the shower cubicle 48 hours later and we didn’t once see anyone cleaning these areas, yes it’s a camp site but didn’t expect to not want to use the facilities
