  • Cornwall holiday park with beach access five minutes’ drive from Hayle
  • A 20-minute drive from Tate St Ives
  • Bar, bistro and shop on site, plus a play park and heated indoor pool
Private access to a three-mile sandy beach sound tempting? That's the fabulous feature you’ll get at St Ives Bay Holiday Park, set on sand dunes five minutes’ drive from Hayle in Cornwall. If you’re all piling in for a family holiday, you can spend days building sandcastles, running around on the beach with the kids and cooling off in the sea. Travelling as a couple? You’ll have spectacular sea views across St Ives Bay and you’re almost guaranteed colourful sunsets as a backdrop for romantic twilight strolls on the sand. And when kicking back and enjoying the views is not quite enough for you (and, let’s face it, the kids will want more), how about crazy golf, tennis or the amusement arcades? You can burn off more energy at the surf school or in the heated indoor swimming pool, and there are play areas scattered around the park to wear the kids out properly. With all this going on, make sure you leave time to unwind for a drink at the terrace bar with superb views over the bay and a menu of small, tapas-style snacks – there’s entertainment in the evenings too. Or you may like to make a night of it with the family over a freshly prepared meal at Sands Bistro? Forgotten an important ingredient or need milk for your morning cuppa? There’s a well-stocked independent shop on site that stocks all the essentials, including your daily newspaper.

What customers say

Awesome spot, right on a gorgeous beach! Big, comfy sites and top blokes running the place. Dunny's are clean but a bit old-school. Kids love the entertainment, and the shop/pub are handy. Bus to St Ives is a breeze. Beach path is steep for some, and it can get a bit loud with the shows.

Liked That it had a great view from our pitch.
The price for the time of year was great.
The staff were all lovely.
Easy access to the towans for local walks.
We were very close to the facilities

Disliked The facilities I felt needed a heater for this time of year.
We ate at the bistro on one occasion & sadly had to return all our food as it was cold - freezing in fact!
Hard burnt yet frozen onion rings. 4 members of staff touched my meal before returning it too me - the quality of what we wre given was very poor!
Absolutely no signal at all

Liked Loved the ease to get on pitches
The clean toilets and showers and the bar if we wanted to be social.
For the 1st week of October it was everything we needed, showers, toilets, water, somewhere to empty a toilet and 48 - 60 mins away from every walk we did. The on site shop was handy.

Disliked The spider in the shower.
Not really a dislike but the toilet block was a little chilly

Liked A lovely site, with amazing sea views from our pitch.

Disliked The showers & pot wash really need some TLC. The showers were like standing under a tap. The pot wash taps just spurted water all over you & the sink plug holes didn't drain well. Also, there was no entertainment on in Sands Bistro from 2nd to 4th October, however it did say there would be, in the information pack that was given to us upon our arrival. Sands Bistro closed each evening, quite early on around 9.30 ish. The "white" doors leading to the toilets in Sands Bistro could do with a good scrub, they are very grimy.

Unpowered grass site

Liked Tent pitches are very close to the beach- great views ! Great facilities on the site including very warm swimming pool, amusements, pub and more. Food from onsite restaurant was good and priced reasonably. Very easy to find and close to shops including Lidl. Toilet and shower block was clean - just a short walk from tent.
