What customers say
Great spot near a cracker beach. Campers rave about the roomy, flat sites & awesome views. Staff are legend, and the pool & entertainment are a hit with families. A few guests reckon some facilities need a spruce-up and there was the odd bit of noise.

Loud, messy, hot, dusty.

Liked Access to the beach was good
Disliked Not enough water taps near our pitches - and the one tap we did find sprayed us with water soaking us whilst we were filling water bottles.
'Bistro'... that is a bit of a stretch. More like a school canteen. Squashed peas and chips all over the floor, empty glasses on every table. Sticky mess on every surface so couldn't put our bags on the floor or the table. Rubbish lined up all along the edges of the outside areas.
Bar had run out of prosecco on a Friday night of bank holiday at 7pm. Only one bottle left and it was warm. Sunday afternoon they had run out of ice.
When we arrived no one could be bothered to show us where the empty pitches were so we drove around in the heat trying to find them until someone eventually found us and helped.
Loud disco every night with music thumping and people walking home past our tent shouting when it was finished.
Lots f cars driving up and down the campsite so not safe to let kids ride around on their bikes. The campsite basically had a road going through it.
Just been asked to review WIFI and didn't even know there was any.
Pool was fully booked throughout our stay so didn't get to use it.

Awesome location, ridiculous prices for the quality

Liked The beach is awesome. Check in staff were nice. It's super handy to have the on site shop (and Lidl just down the road). This place is ALL about beach, dunes, location.
Disliked The price (electric camping pitch) was ridiculous. I booked in advance and it cost me so much per night we only stayed 2 nights. When we were there last minute pitches were available at about one third of the cost I'd paid. And cheaper non-electric pitches were empty and advertised too - none showed as available when I booked. For the price I paid (over £200 for 2 nights) - facilites were really poor. Showers are push button and non adjustable temperature. Washing up facilities outside and not great. All facilities a bit dated. Cleaners left showers/toilets clean but we found people didn't look after them, by evening every shower had someone else's rubbish left in it.
Pitches vary a lot - there are a few really good pitches but you'd be extremely lucky to arrive and find one empty. Most are side by side and lack privacy or a dune view. We had neighbours close on both sides of a sloped pitch that looked onto the track. The other empty pitch when we turned up was over a drain cover and covered in ant powder and traps! (Not what you want for £100+pn).
Swimming pool (indoor) is small, super over-crowded, and noisy (loud music) - it was a reason we'd booked but we only stayed in about half an hour, a disappointment, not really possible to swim and certainly not relaxing. Site bar was nice to have but high prices for what it offers. Shop prices also high, not unexpected but did mean we mainly went out to shop. Guys in the surf school were really helpful and friendly, we'd got back for kids surf lessons with them (but maybe stay off site!)
It's such a shame this place is so overpriced! Given what's on offer at the cost - the only reason to go is the awesome beach.

Liked Fantastic beach. 25 mins from St Ives.
We were very lucky to get a great spot, right at the front near the beach.
Plenty of facilities onsite.
Disliked The onsite prices of everything were high. When you order £30 worth of fish and chips and barely get enough re-heated chips to feed 2 people, never mind a family of 4, it's a bit of a joke.
We did one of the child activities - Potions Lab. The lass doing it did a good job, but it was lack luster for £10 each.
The camping / touring areas are scruffy and tired looking. The touring pitches looked cramped. I'm glad we were not on one of those.

A perfect beachside holiday with great facilities.

Liked The location was stunning with a glorious beach perfect for walking, relaxing and body boarding in the waves. Toilet blocks were cleaned meticulously every morning and evening and showers were hot and powerful. Gorgeous sunsets and dog friendly. Quiet at night and plenty of space for tent and car on the pitch. We will definitely be back!
Disliked WiFi was poor on the camping area

Disliked Pitches aren’t cleared of rubbish before arrival. The toilets and showers are very basic, not very clean and showers ran cold (no way to change temperature)
