What customers say
Fantastic clifftop views, heaps of space & a chill vibe. Owners are ace! Basic facilities suit off-gridders. A few found it pricey with noise issues, but most loved it and wanna come back.

Great place to stay if you like peace and quiet
Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked Loved the remote location and quietness.
We were the only ones there midweek.
Also like the wildness of it, nice to have choice of where to pitch, on clifftop or in woods.
Arrived late so didn’t get a proper look round but will do next time
Facilities are basic, just a toilet and a tap. Perfect for escaping the modern world and spending time
Disliked A bit of litter here and there left by previous groups. Must be hard to monitor such a large wooded area (100 acres), so this is no reflection on the owners.

Toilets where clean and well kept, maintained camp area.

Liked Was my location to trial out a new tent in high winds during off season, peaceful as only one on site, easy access and navigation to site.

Liked I really like this campsite, quiet with loads of space. Only a few miles from where I live. Easy to get to, from the A249 onto the island, 5 to 10 minute drive. I'm going to keep going back. It's great.

Liked I stayed for one night, and couldn't get to the campsite until half past midnight. Catherine was very accommodating and let me know how to get in without disturbing anyone. Once the sun had risen, the view was incredible. Definitely recommend staying here!

A great off-grid site with friendly owners and perfect scenery
Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked The view was amazing, could easily spend days just watching the world go by. The facilities (very clean and well maintained composting toilet, and nearby water tap) were just right to be comfortable but not ruin the off-grid experience. The size of the land means you can find any type of space you want, by the water, by the pond, deep in the middle of the woods, and anything in between! Loved our two night stay and would happily come back again.
