What customers say
A quiet, private campsite in lovely countryside with big, roomy spots. Clean amenities with hot showers always get a thumbs up. Hosts are friendly, kids love the skatepark, and it's great for nature walks. Some reckon recycling could be better.

Fab location, great site, excellent showers.
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked The site was fab. We’ve been to the island plenty but this was our first camping experience on the IOW.
Camp Corve was large enough to have plenty of space between pitches in your own little area, and to not be overly disturbed by anyone else or noise from the facilities, but small enough to get everywhere within a 2 minute walk.
The site is perfectly located to explore the whole island, with a stunning coastal drive along Military Road not too far away.
The owners were available (and friendly) but not intrusive. The site/facilities continued to be clean and tidy for the whole week, without ever really seeing either Hamish or Erin. We didn’t need their assistance during our stay, but they were friendly and helpful when we did encounter them.
My son loved the skateboarding lessons, and the purpose built skate park was truly excellent and well crafted. We believe it was a labour of love and it shows!
Clear skies every night, lovely birdsong in the mornings. We had a sweet juvenile Robin visit us every day for crumbs of our toast, which was a highlight.
The showers were excellent, particularly the outdoor showers in the wooden huts. Perfectly private, really excellent hot water pressure, and the corrugated clear roof really helped warm up the space under the morning sun. There was never a queue for toilets, showers or wash up facilities. Handy plug sockets in the toilet block, with space for electric toothbrush/shaver charging.
Lovely space for kids to roam and play on the large tiered field. There were lots of families visiting the same week as us, so it wasn’t necessarily peaceful whilst they were playing, but the evenings were calm and quiet.
At £28 per night, we would definitely come back!
Disliked Our only disappointment was the lack of freezer facilities to recharge our freezer packs. We made do with bags of ice from the supermarket but it would be really handy to have a freezer in the future; something Hamish said was an eventual plan.

Excellent campsite and location for family fun.
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Wonderful hosts, beautiful location, amazing skatepark. We couldn't have asked more for a camping holiday location, and seeing our daughter spark an interest in skateboarding was so cool - the environment was perfect, really relaxed and friendly - no pressure just fun. Oh and the showers/facilities are great too! Kids (and us) didn't want to leave, however long you're planning to stay, book two extra nights because you won't want to go home!
We have already booked to return 😊

A wonderful campsite run by lovely owners. We would happily come back.
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Incredible showers! Beautifully warm, high pressure and no annoying press buttons to keep them on. Plots were shady and secluded and the site was small and safe. Toilet block was clean, spacious and well stocked with TP and soap.
Disliked Having to leave!

Liked We had a great stay at Camp Corve, really relaxed place and the facilities were good. The teenagers spent a lot of time making use of the on-site skate park. We'll definitely be back.

Power optional grass and gravel caravan site
Liked It was a lovely stay, really peaceful but still a short drive to amenities. Hosts were an absolute delight and answered all questions. Also….. PROPER SHOWERS AND BATHS! This was amazing. Always clean and pleasant. Will absolutely be booking again.
Disliked The only thing was we decided to book the day of the local farmer harvesting the field directly behind the site. Obviously this was no fault of the host and was not ongoing through the night, was just a little dusty.

Peaceful, private pitches.
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Extremely peaceful and spacious pitches in a beautiful natural setting. Good, clean facilities and it never felt crowded, in fact we were hardly aware of other campers most of the time. Erin, Hamish and the rest of the team were friendly and helpful. I don’t think the website does the nature of the campsite justice: the indoor skate park and the event area seemed much less of a feature when we were there which we were pleased about as we did have reservations about them being noisy which they weren’t at all. We have camped in many beautiful sites in the Lakes, Wales, Shropshire and Devon and Dorset and this is our new favourite. In our top three and we’ve been camping for 40 years !

Liked Clean facilities, excellent showers, helpful owners, view over the valley, variety of pitches. Ebike charging much appreciated too. Proximity of superb riding on and off road.
Disliked Having to come home.
