What customers say
This popular campsite offers great value with clean, basic facilities. Staff are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. It's ideal for walking into Stockbridge, with spacious, flat pitches. Despite some road noise and composting toilets, reviews are overwhelmingly positive with many planning to return.

Perfect site for short stay campers, stone's throw from Stockbridge
Unpowered grass caravan site
Liked Such a laidback campsite, we didn't have to check in just turn up pick a spot and get comfy. The site owner does a walk around and says hello and leaves you to it. Fire and Firepits well stocked and available, a Freezer on site for ice packs. The toilets/showers are really pleasant and kept very clean. overall its just a lovely campsite, its very relaxed and feels like a holiday, no BS about pitch size, amount of tents, group demographics or where you can go, if there's space you can camp there. Great site, been twice now, will happily go back again. And being such a short walk from Stockbridge is a bonus, multiple pub options, a curry house, a pizza restaurant, lovely cafe's, and loads of walks through the Test Valley.
Disliked Only thing I would change is the hand towel in the toilets, it seems a bit unhygienic although I am sure it is swapped out on the regular. Paper towels or a blow dryer would be preferred.

Great stay, if we are ever in the area again it would be our choice!
Unpowered concrete and grass caravan site
Liked I liked the camping site being very spacious, the washing room and toilet blocks very clean, being close to a cute little town, and also the fact that the check-in and check-out period is very long, unlike other campsites I've visited where check-in only happens in the middle of the afternoon and we have to check out in the morning (like in a hotel)
Disliked We had a setback at the entrance because there is a password lock on the gate and we did not receive any code via email or any instructions informing us of this, so we had to wait for the employee to assist us, which was done quickly, but I would have preferred this information to have been provided beforehand via email.

Great for a short term stay. Probably not the best for young kids.
Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked Free roam to pitch where we liked. Easy to navigate in and out, everyone seemed very friendly.
Disliked The gate was a bit of a mare, we were told there was a code to get in, sent my mrs out who was stood in the rain trying to open the lock which didn't work.... it took a few minutes to realise that the lock wasn't in use and the gate could just be opened. The noise curfew wasn't adhered to by everyone, obviously this isn't the fault of the campsite but the campers.
There was a very loud alarm sounding for quite a long time which seemed to be coming from a neighbouring property.
The toilets although we're very good and of a higher standard on most sites could have been cleaned a little more frequently, my 3 year old was in and out quite a lot and from the start of the stay to leaving the condition of the toilets seemed to deteriorate, they could probably have done with a whip around a couple more times to keep on top of things, also the provided hand towel was not in a great condition, paper towels would have been much better.
