Liked Nice wee campsite, plenty of space. Toilets and shower block good too.
Poor hygiene facilities but EVERYTHING else is amazing.

Liked The campsite, views and nature was beautiful. It was well priced, private and spacious. As it was accessible and there were large, near-by shops, we were able to simply travel by tram as a group. There was also a large range of onsite activities and facilities like showers and a troughs to wash up in with taps. There is good signal throughout the site and a large wood pile.
Disliked The toilet facilities (including the showers), while functional didn’t smell or look great and were limited in number.

Liked Woodland area is beautiful. It’s very quiet and peaceful and on the Sunday we were the only ones on whole site.
Disliked Shower and toilet block very dirty.
There was a brush and shower squeegee but they were also too dirty to use to clean it. We were originally told to go to the top field. Very small and already not really any room. We rang and we told we could use a different field which was woodland area we had to ourselves and it was perfect.
I bins so had to travel home with dog poly bags and bags of rubbish.

Liked The fact other people didn't end up next to a bunch of drunks looking to fight
Disliked Drunks turned up at the pitch next to me, stole my chair and wanted me to fight for my chair, nobody on hand to help

Lovely campsite if you’re just looking for a chilled experience
Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked We had our own field away from everyone
Scout leader, I think his name was Caleb, he was extremely helpful and sort out of campfire and gave us all relevant information
Toilets on site
Very quiet area
Disliked Unable to park with tent had to carry all our stuff up and down the track
We was in the area surrounded by trees so there was lots of bugs and a lack of sunlight but we weren’t majorly bothered by this
We had a great time and will definitely be going again
Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked very spacious, helpful staff, lovely view, simple but clean toilet and washing facilities.
Not a bad campsite ,just needs maybe fencing off in the top field
Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked Location was good ,blistering hot in the sun ,good views across greater manchester, plenty of areas to explore .
Disliked The drive up the hill to camp is a bit narrow in places..had to wait nearly five hours for fire wood and when we got it ten pounds worth lasted just over an hour not much for your buck...the nearest shop is quite a distance away if you need something...and you have to take your rubbish home with you as there is no bins or recycling ...
In my view ideal for "wildish" camping.

Liked Solitude. I think I was the only one on site. If you want to wild camp but don't want to risk getting found out this is the place to be. You aren't far from civilization but you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere.
Disliked Nothing. Basic and uncomplicated.
