What customers say
Great for families! Lots to do, clean facilities (new loos!), and friendly staff. Pool and arcades are a hit. Downsides: muddy pitches after rain and some noise. Renovations are happening, so expect good things.

Overall decent stay would stay again

Liked Modern bathroom
Lots of different activities for kids
Feeling like you were on a caravan holiday park instead of just a camp site
Free swimming everyday
Disliked The camp site was more like entering a council estate where people are up making noise till god knows what time (after midnight) with their kids screaming and messing on. Doesn’t seem to be any camp respect for others at night or security around the camp site bit.
Entertainment on a night was more for little little kids and terrible
Although the pizza from the van was nice, I was told it was 12” for 14 pound… it was overpriced and half the size
Activities are expensive

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

Liked The site was well organised, the staff were helpful and friendly, the facilities were clean and tidy and well maintained, and the Dino Carts were great fun and good value for the price. The fish and chips from the Fishbox were good value and tasty.
Disliked The activities were expensive, the pitches were not checked after previous occupants had left resulting in the dogs trying to eat what had been left behind.

Facilities, activities for kids, restaurant food…
Powered grass site
Liked Facilities, activities for kids, restaurant food was delicious, nice walks along the promenade, weather was perfect (for a change), friendly & helpful staff, football on the big screen. Loved that I could take my dog into the arcade too to watch the footy. Live music outside was a bonus. My son loved the laser tag
Disliked No supermarket for miles and miles. There is only the on site nisa or a small local co-op which didn’t stock much.
My son done the zorbing but there was only one other child so seemed a bit silly having it on for two kids when it’s meant to include games etc. he enjoyed it but would have been a lot better if there was more.
Noisy neighbour watching friends on full volume well after midnight. I think every tent could hear word for word. I love friends but not when I’m shattered. Thankfully they only done it once. It was usually pretty quiet once 11pm hit, with the exception of a car alarm and a few dogs barking.
Pitch was completely shaded and didn’t get any of the gorgeous sun. I did ask for a pitch that wouldn’t get flooded so probs my own fault being given under the huge trees but that was before seeing the fab weather forecast. I should have asked for a different pitch on arrival. Never mind!

Great location, great amenities and very friendly staff!

Liked We had a great time and wish we’d booked for longer! There was so much to do for the kids and adults alike. The resort was well laid out and we had everything we needed close to hand (camping).
Entertainment was great and my daughter absolutely loved it!
A special mention to the guy maintaining the arcades (wish I got his name) as he was amazing. Had to ask for his help twice and both times he was so friendly. It’s things like this that make a good resort great… the staff! Couldn’t fault it and will definitely be booking again but for longer!

Was absolutely lovely, would definitely recommend

Liked The entertainment was brilliant, the staff were very helpful, food was lovely!
Disliked There wasn’t much to dislike, would have been nicer if there were perhaps more baby friendly facilities instead of a stand alone changer. Or maybe some extra space or hooks in the showers

Easy book in process, grass pitches were decent, clean toilets.

Liked The campsite was good, we would return. We camped on an electric hook up and the pitches were flat.
Toilets were cleaned regularly.
Great swimming is included in price and other bits going on for the kids.
Disliked Showers became blocked and lots of water from multiple showers built up at feet.
Could do with another washroom for washing dishes. Only 2 sinks and often had to queue.
Kids club definitely needs air con!

The facilities were nice and clean…
Powered grass site
Liked The facilities were nice and clean and close by. There was plenty to do there for the kids.
Disliked You weren’t allocated a pitch so it was slim pickings when we got there, we paid for an electric pitch and there were only 2 electric ones left to choose from and they were on rocks so we were standing on stones through the tent. I don’t think there was anyone actually checking who had paid for electric and who hadn’t as no one checked us

Peace and quiet? Find somewhere else!
Powered grass site
Liked Modern well kept showers, toilets and washing up facilities.
Plenty for the kids to do.
Food was great in both the restaurants and the takeaways.
Staff were well trained (SIA Licensed)
Disliked I found myself and the family squeezed in like sardines. This is a great site for groups that will stay up into the early hours of the morning causing havoc. Car horns beeping at night, arrests the next night, women throwing up their drinks in the mens toilets, kareokee tent next to us going till 1am, no site security or warden after hours, no peace and quiet the whole week.
Pitches themselves weren't much better, covered in rubbish when we arrived and the ground was awful. Make sure you take a long elec cable (25M+) as some pitches were a fair distance from a hook up
Great site if you like this kind of thing but if you want the peace and quite then this isn't the place.
