What customers say
A peaceful, small campsite on lovely grounds, great for river walks and estate exploring. Easy M6 access. Motorhomes welcome on level pitches. Tranquil, but facilities are basic (no showers), and some feel it's pricey. Washing-up/toilet areas need a spruce-up. Fire pit provided.

Disliked We were unable to make it to the campsite and tried to cancel, but when we rang the number cited on the listing a rude, unhelpful woman answered who immediately snapped it was the wrong number. When I explained our situation she sneeringly replied, 'Attention to details sorts the men from the boys.' Well, sort your listing out and make sure the right number is included. Glad we didn't make it. The portaloos didn't sound very enticing.

Liked Beautiful setting on level pitches with lots of space around camping area including fire pit with logs and log seating. Although quirky set up, spacious toilet with basin, and shower room combined with washing up area with plenty of hot water made this our favourite campsite on our Hadrians wall hiking week.
