What customers say
Great wild camping spot with epic valley views and chill vibes. Hosts are legends, loos are spotless, and the pub's a quick walk. Free tea/coffee/milk, fire pits too. Can get windy, best for short stays due to basic facilities.

We really enjoyed our first stay…
Unpowered grass motorhome site
Liked We really enjoyed our first stay at this campsite. The view & the sunset made this a perfect stay. Campsite is quiet & peaceful and very spacious.
Disliked We ordered firewood on the morning of our arrival when we received our information text at 8am, when the firewood was dropped at other pitches we questioned when ours would be coming and were told they had ran out. We would have brought our own if we knew this was going to happen. Therefore we didn’t have a fire pit so had an early night instead once it got a bit chilly.

From the manager: We are sorry that the firewood had sold out, It was a really busy weekend and this was totally an oversight on our part, we had missed your order so apologies for that! We are so pleased you enjoyed our site.
On your next visit come see us we will make sure you grab a fire pit pack on us. We look forward to welcoming you back to enjoy the wonderful views.

Liked Views are amazing. Portaloos clean. Nice touch with the drinking water/tea/coffee trailer.
Disliked Some large, very loud groups who made noise til about 3am

From the manager: We are disappointed you had a disturbed night. We do try our best to keep the site peaceful. All campers receive a text message advising that we allow no loud music at any time and it's quiet time from 10pm. We checked the site at 10pm and no music was playing. The groups were all family gropus with young children themselves. When we checked they were just sitting laughing and chatting. People often don't realise they are making a noise as sound travels in the open. We are a farm, primarily, so don't have a warden. However, we do come along and speak to campers when we are notified of any problems. Unfortunately, no one let us know this time. It's our peak time and this was as busy as our site gets, it's usually much quieter and a nice family place to camp.
