Unpowered grass tent or campervan site
Liked Peaceful, not commercialised. Just a field with toilets an a shower.
Disliked Hedge needs a trim for those on the low end of the field to see the sea view.

From the manager: I'm not allowed to cut the hedge. It was part of my planning permission. I was not to gut the headge as it hides the toilets. That's the north Yorkshire national Parks planning department for you. Nothing I can do. Allso if i was allowed it's legal to cut hedges before the end of September because of birds nesting.

Unpowered grass tent or campervan site
Liked Really nice space, great view, and good value. Facilities mostly clean and functional.
Disliked Toilet roll ran out quickly. The soap dispenser was empty for the entirety of the stay. The main shower room was clean but could do with a daily rinse down (some hair had built up on the base of the shower which was there for the whole stay).

Simple little campsite not far from Whitby and Scarborough.
Unpowered grass tent or campervan site
Liked Location just 20 min drive from Scarborough. 12 min walk from lobely pub. Simple campsite facing south with a natural wind barrier-woodland. Scenic view from campsite overlooking Scarborough. Simple, clean little outdated facilities. But enough for a wee, dump and getting in the shower in the morning.Everything is there pot washing area, freezer for ice packs, even sockets for phone charging.

Disliked No soap in the toilets. Would be helpful to have a mop in the shower , it got pretty mucky. A bin in the main shower would be helpful for ladies
