Liked: Loved the text checkin, some might not but it was great the site sent us a text in the morning of our arrival with all the details of where our pitch was etc and asked us to text them when they arrived which we did. There are no real fascilities here other than power and waster dump, which doesn't bother us as we are self contained. In the distance you can see whitby abbey, everything worked as it should and we had the site to ourselves which is always a bonus.

Liked: Closeness to Whitby Abbey, cycle trail & bus service to coast. Very nicely kept site. Nice views.
Disliked: Narrow pitches - caravan on next pitch parked his truck right under our window - about 2" gap when they opened their truck doors. No contact with anyone - booking, paying, checking in etc. all online. Dog charged extra for no reason. Some noise from main road. Expensive for having no facilities - guess you are paying for location.

Liked: Great site, great location as a base for exploring Whitby. Good provision of clean water and waste and grey/black water disposal (which I didn't know they had, so was a good bonus). It is what it says on the tin and it certainly delivered. Good no fuss contactless check in - bit of an issue with another van on our pitch but owner sorted it very promptly so not complaints at all. Bus stop just at the bottom of the road to get into Whitby (10 mins) and it's £2 for adults only regardless of how far you travel (you can go to Scarborough for £2!!!) - very handy if you can't move your van when it's pitched up. The adjoining road is a great 30/40 mins walk to the top of Whitby Abbey (meaning you only have to walk down the 199 steps....). Hare and Hounds is a great pub just down the road - a little pricey but the food is amazing!
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Lovely view across Whitby, easy to find, clean and tidy.
Disliked: Cars parked at end of caravans made it difficult to park in the end slots.
