What customers say
A favourite with bikers, the vibe's friendly & staff are a great help. Sites are usually roomy & well-planned. The cafe gets a thumbs-up for tasty, affordable grub. Facilities are okay but some reckon they're a bit old-fashioned, especially the loos. Trains and the odd event can get a bit noisy.

Motorcycle and tent only unpowered grass tent site (no cars)
Liked It was really great, able to keep the tent in the shade for most part near the trees, area was flat, food from the cafe amazing and staff really lovely.
Facilities for toilets during the night clean...looking forward to rock n bike show
Disliked Had 2 campers either side of us made it clear about 4 hrs after we arrived that they expected just them to have the tree line shade, were quite unkind so spoiled it a bit for us.

Fantastic spot
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked What a fantastic place to camp! We went due to it being so close to the festival at Slam Dunk. Easy to find, so much space to pitch our tents, has a water tap close by, toilets, good sized showers and a pub with food on site with really fantastic motorbikes to eye up! Staff were friendly.
Disliked I would say upon checking in we had a bit of a wait & did have to ask quite a lot of questions so I think being given brochures and a lot of information on hand instead of us having to bombard with questions.

Ruined by other selfish people and toilets need cleaning
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Enjoyed watching all the bikes, spent time in the sun and the cafe was serving some nice food.
Disliked Toilet block was dirty with faeces on the toilet seats. Family/friends with children camping in two tents, one lady, Kirsty, kept the majority of the campsite up from 1am and was still going at it when we left (early because we had enough of her) at 7am. Crying, screaming, attempting to drive drunk and shouting at her husband/about her personal life. A few others told her to be quiet around 3am as she’s woken others children up and she told them to f**k off. Behaviour like this shouldn’t be tolerated on campus sites and she should be ashamed to have gotten in that state with her children camping!
