What customers say
Peaceful, well-kept site near Wells. Spacious, private spots are a hit, though early cockerels can be a bit loud. Basic but clean facilities. Fire pits to hire, plus a fun miniature railway. Friendly, helpful owners.

Perfect site for us
Bantam powered grass caravan site
Liked Delightful setting, lots of space, a really relaxed site. Loved the roaming bantams with their chicks. Good local pub within walking distance and another within cycling distance. The nearest coastal town of Wells was also within walking/cycling distance and has a regular bus service. The town has a great selection of small shops, cafes and pubs and amazing beaches.

Bantam powered grass caravan site
Liked A lovely cosy little camp site and nice clean toilets and an outside shed with bits to buy for fires etc.
We didn’t need to use the electric as we had solar panels and our own toilet.
Disliked Nothing
But we arrived when it was dark so we couldn’t see the cut out chickens… so I’d maybe suggest some solar lights around the hook up pitches maybe for guests arriving in the dark :)

Excellent - oak tree grove/open area, minimal facilities, beautiful.
Silkie unpowered grass tent site
Liked The beautiful arrangements for the compost loos! The wooden benches, free firebowls, flat surface and comfortable ground for tents.
The peace and quiet…
Disliked …except when the wind came from the direction of the crowing cockerels at dawn!

Fantastic quiet campsite. Perfect for getting away from it all
Silkie unpowered grass tent site
Liked Everything. This campsite was exactly what we were looking for. Small and quiet but with large pitches. It has picnic benches and fire pits. It’s rustic with composting toilets and no shower but that’s part of its charm. Great location for exploring north Norfolk coast.
