What customers say
This little gem for adults is a ripper for peace and cleanliness. Reviewers rave about the friendly owners, spick-and-span facilities (toilets and showers are spotless!), and a handy pub nearby. Furry mates are welcome with a dedicated walk. Perfect for a chilled-out escape. Just a heads-up: occasional WiFi glitches and a few more dunnies/showers when it's chockers.

Really friendly and welcoming host, well…
Powered grass site
Liked Really friendly and welcoming host, well kept facilities, it was perfect for what we needed, only a handful of pitches and dog friendly, with a lovely dog friendly pub just a short walk away
Disliked I only wish the hedge was cut lower, so we could have admired the beautiful fields and lake beyond whilst sitting at our pitch...

What a great first stay with our new to us campervan!!
Powered grass site
Liked This was our very first stay with our new to us old campervan! It turned out to be just perfect for us all (3 adults, mum at 90!), a lovely site, well maintained and with everything we needed. Great spot for our 3 dogs, a lovely touch was the dog walk with poop bins! The local pub, The Open Ditch serves wonderful meals and it's easy to get to from the site. We met the owner who was lovely. We hope to return one day for sure!
Disliked Nothing to mention, everything was spot on. WiFi wasn't great, but it's a rural location.

From the manager: What a shame that you would not visit our site again. There is a large hedge which houses wildlife and shelters from winds so with two look out sites so not sure about the view you speak of. We are a family run site and pride ourselves in providing a campsite for all to enjoy. The toilet facilities are advertised on our website so no hidden surprises if campers check out pitch up before arriving.

We've never done an adult only…
Powered grass site
Liked We've never done an adult only campsite before, however we loved it! Very small site with only 6 pitches but it was so peaceful and the other campers were all so friendly. The toilet and shower were in good condition and clean.
Disliked Our pitch has some very dried up dog poo on when we arrived. As we brought our puppy with us, we had poo bags so cleared it up first but don't think this should've been on us to do.

From the manager: Thank you for your feedback. I’m so sorry to hear that another camper or maybe a wild animal had left their mess. We do try and keep our site as poo free as possible during times of maintenance and hope that this minor thing will not prevent you from returning to our site in the future.
