Make yourself comfortable at Westbrook Farm Park, a family-friendly site in Little Hereford, a 10-minute drive from the foodie town of Ludlow in Shropshire. This pretty site is on the banks of the Teme River, and is well placed for waterside explorations: there's over half a mile of river for fishing (an additional fee is required), waterside walks (with or without canine companions) and idle times on the site seating or around the picnic tables. Keep your eyes peeled too to spot the birds that flit all around; ducks, herons and kingfishers all have their homes here. Venturing into the surroundings, there are hikes, bike rides and horse riding canters to tackle: the site is 15 minutes from the Grafton Farm Equestrian Centre and walking and cycling trails in the Mortimer Forest, and 20 minutes form Wheely Wonderful Cycling, 20 minutes away. If none of this appeals, an information hut next to reception is full of suggestions for places to see and places to eat and drink nearby... send the kids to the playground, and settle down with a cup of tea or coffee while you consider your options.

This tidy, quiet park has roomy, flat spots, many with full hook-ups. Guests rave about the spotless amenities, especially the showers, and the welcoming, helpful staff. Its riverside setting offers great walks, and the kids' play area's a winner. Freeview boxes provided. Minor notes on Wi-Fi signal and few local shops.

Liked Easy to find, staff were very welcoming and helpful, pitches immaculate, loved that a freesat box is available, lovely walk by the river, the walk to tenbury wells is pleasant along a quiet lane

Disliked The toilets and showers although very clean the block itself was freezing with all the windows open on a chilly weekend, once you are parked up there are no views only a beech hedge which I appreciate blocks the wind but nothing to look at

Liked This has to be the most peaceful site we have stayed on.The whole site is immaculateThe pitches are level the adjoining grass,hedges and shrubs are manicured.The on pitch facilties are the best inc Tv ariel and the best Grey waste system we have seen.The wardens are so lovely and friendly,and keep the toilet block immaculate.We loved the River Teme paddock seats, benches and walk to the nearby church.

Disliked Having to leave to go home for work!

Liked The pitch sizes were great and they allowed us as a group to be near each other. There was 14 of us and we are very conscious of noise so we weren't loud in the evenings.

Disliked Would have been nice to have a food option on site ie. chip van, or some sort of delivery service

Liked Great toilet/shower block and wash up/laundry facilities. Both clean and modern. Nice size pitch. The site wasn't too large and there was a lovely riverside walk. Good WiFi. Friendly and helpful on arrival.
