What customers say
A friendly, compact spot with clean, toasty facilities & a cosy pub with top tucker. Locals loved the warm welcome from staff. Great for doggos, with plenty of walks near Bridgnorth. Occasional kennel noise & patchy Wi-Fi noted, but the peaceful vibe & good pitches shine through.

Liked Stayed here for the first time over the weekend and it was absolutely fabulous. We were made to feel extremely welcome. The pitch and facilities were great. Each pitch has their own electric and water supply. Lovely clean toilet block with hot showers. The pub onsite is so lovely and welcoming. The food was awesome. Just a 6 minute drive to Aldi or Sainsbury’s and beautiful Bridgnorth. So peaceful in surrounding countryside. Can’t wait to go back. Many thanks to all the staff and Pete the owner who welcomed us.

Disliked Noise from dogs/hunting hounds barking day and night however, this is not the fault of the site owners.

From the manager: Thank you, Michael, for taking the time to leave your review.
We’re really pleased you enjoyed the pitch size, cleanliness of the facilities, hot showers, and the atmosphere in the pub – it’s great to hear the team looked after you well.
Just to address a few of your points, we do have the grass cut weekly as part of our regular maintenance schedule. Unfortunately, our gardener was unwell last week which caused a short delay, but this has now been resolved.
Regarding the neighbouring kennels, there are around 10 hounds rather than the number mentioned. We do appreciate that noise can occasionally carry in the countryside, and we’re sorry this affected your stay. We have passed the feedback on to the kennel owners.
In terms of the menu, we intentionally keep it smaller so we can focus on quality home-cooked food alongside our regularly changing daily specials.
Warm regards Peter, Kiki & Team

Liked Fantastic place to unwind been 3 times and love it the food in the pub is THE BEST ....
Disliked Wifi and phone signal is not good but a break from the world is a GOOD break.

From the manager: Hi Martin,
LOVE this — thank you! We’re so pleased you keep coming back to see us, that really means a lot.
Great to hear you’re able to unwind and that you’re enjoying the pub too — “THE BEST” is high praise indeed and we’ll make sure the kitchen team sees that!
And we like your take on the WiFi and signal… sometimes switching off properly is exactly what’s needed. While there may not be WiFi out on the pitches, there is free WiFi available in and around the pub.
Looking forward to welcoming you back for visit number four!
Warm regards
Peter, Kiki & Team
