What customers say
Spacious, friendly campsite with a great riverside location, perfect for walks and pub trips. Staff are super helpful & welcoming. Pitches are flat & roomy, ideal for families. Facilities are clean but basic. Can get a bit busy & noisy during peak times.

Good facilities, chilled site, would stay again!
Powered grass and earth site
Liked Spacious pitches. Can pitch wherever you like based on EHU or not.
Fridge/kettle/microwave available in the pot wash area which is sheltered (a dream during storm Dave!)
Toilets and showers are well maintained. Shower didn’t have any sort of shelf to put your shampoo etc on. I have a changeable wash bag so not a problem for me but something to bear in mind if you don’t have one.
Showers are proper showers instead of the silly silver button ones & get really nice and hot!
No problems with EHU throughout stay.

In the middle of nowhere!
Electric powered grass and earth caravan site
Liked Nothing
Disliked Terrible showers with no heating and space for clothes
Electricity went off at 11pm and not back on until the next morning as the owner refused to come out and put it back on.
The grass had recently been cut (knowing it was Easter Weekend)resulting in clumps of grass being dragged into our carvan

Liked We loved our stay at Boat Lane. Definitely going back. Lovely welcome greeting on arrival. The facilities are great. Didn’t want for anything. Close to local pubs. Lovely area to stay. Lots to do around if you like a walk aswell.
Disliked Only thing was where to put your belongings whilst using the shower facilities and where to get changed after showering. But still great showers.
