Δεν μου άρεσε What’s not to like. Although some reviews mention the access via a lorry park’ we did not find this to be an issue. I can understand why some larger motor homes may find the access a little ´tight’ but there were plenty of large Motorhomes and caravans on site when we were there.

Μου άρεσε The location of this site is great, being only 10 min walk to the centre of Castleton.

Δεν μου άρεσε Nothing to dislike so long as you know what you are booking. This is a wild camping site with no showers and a basic toilet block ( men’s = 1 urinal, 1 toilet, 1 sink ). The plots are also on a slope, but nothing that can’t be tolerated. We love this site and will return again.

Μου άρεσε Cleanliness of the site. Simple toilet block ( small ) with washing facility but very well maintained and very clean. The site is basic ( wild camping ) but we liked that. The location is fab. The views of Mam Tor and surrounding hills is to die for. Only 10 - 15 minutes walk into Castleton itself. Loved the site, will definitely return.

Δεν μου άρεσε We didn’t really dislike anything, but others need to be aware the site is basically an open field ( quite large ) with no amenities other than a simple small toilet block with washing facilities. There is a slight ‘tilt’ on site but nothing that can’t be managed.

Μου άρεσε Site Very clean, with pitches, showers and toilets being regularly cleaned. Friendly staff with nice bar and small swimming pool. Good location for accessing beaches north and south of Newquay. Would definitely return

Δεν μου άρεσε Background music in bar may have added another level of ambiance. But no real dislikes
