Μου άρεσε We visit often, great value for money, lovely location. Private beach, lots of steps though.....We never visit in the hight of season, so has never been over busy. Club with entertainment, shop pool ect......Spacious pitches, the beach and town within walking distance and no roads to cross. Quite steep but manageable.

Δεν μου άρεσε This is predominantly a static caravan park, but toilets and showers avalible for use. However during our visit new floors being laid. We were not informed of this. So unable to access toilets or showers. The disabled toilet was avalible but no inside door handle!! Once in, you couldn't get out. Hubby got locked in and pulled emergency cord once realised he could not get out. Took 20 mins for someone to come. A bit of a concern. The following day no handle at all on disabled door, while workmen all around refitting toilets? If you had no personal facilities you would have had a difficult few nights...

Μου άρεσε Convenient meeting place for us and friends from Cornwall, it is virtually half way between us. The pub being on site is a bonus for us, we have the option to eat out rather than cook. The pitches are a fair size, and well laid out. Facilities clean and easily accessible. We have met up at this particular site many times before, never been disappointed. .....until now.

Δεν μου άρεσε The sewage smell, particularly bad this weekend sadly. Also the toilet outside lights weren't on as early as they should have been. We also had an issue getting onto site and were left waiting at the gate for quite a while, even when we reminded them that we were still waiting at the gate. We had booked a table for an evening meal, however, service was extremely poor. The pub wasn't full and it was quite early in the evening, but waited ages for someone to take order, took drinks order but then failed to bring drinks, we went to bar and collected our drinks but still waited ages for food order. The food is generally good, and three of the meals were fine, but not great and the fish and chips was pretty awful. Dried and well over cooked, crushed peas were like bullets...... Onwards and upwards we thought, but service continued very poor. After a very long wait we decided to forgo deserts and skip to the cheese board, which looked good. So we ordered the cheese board, but never recieved it, even though we reminded them when the coffee's arrived. On each occasion we voiced our complaints, especially when the invisible cheeseboard was still on the bill, which was removed when we reminded them again we hadn't recieved it. Not once was an apology forthcoming, or a goodwill gesture offered. Such a disappointment. We were not looking forward to the breakfasts with much enthusiasm, which we had pre-booked. I'm pleased to say that breakfasts were lovely, much more like our expectations. Such a shame, overall very disappointed.

Μου άρεσε The site, although if your roadside can be bit noisy. Easy to walk into town. Train station, bus route and a ferry across to Exmouth all in town. Liked the darkness, sounds silly, but nothing worse than bright lights at your pitch. Facilities basic but clean. Chickens, duck and geese on site. Lots of wielding areas. I loved it.

Μου άρεσε Everything, views are stunning, absolute silence apart from nature. Beautiful, homely facilities. Extremely peaceful hideaway site. A perfect place to totally relax.

Μου άρεσε Lovely wooded site, very natural. Campfires allowed and camping in woods. Basic shop, walk to a lovely local pub about 30mins. Facilities clean and plentiful spread out around site. Level pitches. Fabulous site for chidren with so much to explore.

Δεν μου άρεσε Our pitch was extremely close to the next pitch (To the left) It was vacant during our visit, if it was occupied I would have requested moving. Signage around site for the walk to pub was lacking. Only found one....could have done with a few more as site very large.....

Μου άρεσε Everything, a gem of a find. Beautiful small site with stunning views across to Dartmoor. Only 10 pitches in all, over 2 fields. Facilities small but beautifully maintained and warm!. (So many sites with freezing facilities) Village with shop, pub and chip shop about mile and a half away. Level, generous pitches, with unimpeded views. Adult only (always our choice during kids holidays) Truly great value for money, electric included, we have paid a lot more for less, we dont return if poor. Picnic bench on pitch...We loved it and will definitely be back. Well done owners....perfect.

Μου άρεσε Everything! Absolutely loved it. The views are lovely and far reaching. All pitches have electric and water on pitch and views are from every pitch. The windmill is really worth the 20 min walk. Its lovely. The walk into the town opposite direction and longer, but with it. Very quiet site too, which is important for us. No shower/toilet block, (self contained units only) but chem waste avalible. Adult only......Gutted we had only book one night as travelling through. Will definitely book again. Would upload photos, but sadly I dont seem to be able too...

Μου άρεσε The quiet, the cleanliness was remarkable. Pitches were good size and Darren (owner) very helpful and knowledgeable about local attractions. The compost toilet was really good, best we have come across to date. Fabulous and will be back.

Δεν μου άρεσε Not the sites fault at all, very ignorant other guests who had their three dogs off lead in areas where they should have been on leads!!! Especially once they informed us that the dogs didn't like other dogs or people!!!!

Από τον διαχειριστή: First I would like to apologise for the off lead dogs. You're right we do have a strict dogs on leads policy in the camping fields and to and from the off lead dog fields. Sorry this was not adhered to by some. If we see them, we are the first to say something. We are so pleased that you all enjoyed your stay and would be happy to return, we want all our guests too feel relaxed at our site. We understand that campers do not want to have very close neighbours so we don't do that, we try to space everybody out. Your view in front will be countryside views and not another camper. We are very proud of our swedish compost toilet, no water and no wood shavings, it really is an amazing piece of kit. Please do stop by again, you'll be made very welcome.
