Μου άρεσε A great find! A beautiful spot and scenery. The drinks area and milkshakes were a great addition. Pizza night on site. I loved the roaming chickens! Washing up area was useful to have. Shepherd’s hut was a cute experience, first time staying in one.

Δεν μου άρεσε Portable toilets only on site, which were very small and not much room to move once inside. Portable showers were okay, but the shower head wasn’t adjustable and water couldn’t be directed as the shower head was fixed.

Μου άρεσε Good location, cafe and gift shop on site, near to pubs and local amenities.

Δεν μου άρεσε We couldn’t find the area for electric hookup (tents) on arrival, as the sign visible just said ‘tents non-electric’. Some dog walkers tried to help us, but we ended up at a dead end. Eventually another camper came out and pointed us in the right direction. We then had to do the same for the people that arrived after us! The toilet block was quite a walk for those camping in tents and the temporary portaloo wasn’t clean enough to use. One of the cars from the caravan area was taking up a space in the camping field, which was annoying, as the tents were crammed in. I think allocating pitches may have been better, it was a free for all.

Μου άρεσε We had a lovely mini break to Runswick Bay. The campsite is in a beautiful location and so close to the bay. The site is well kept and the toilet/shower block was clean. It was a short walk to the Runswick Bay Hotel for our dinner. I liked that the site is dog friendly, as there are so many dog walks locally, such a great place to explore. The campsite owners are lovely and made us feel welcome during our stay. I plan to return.
