Μου άρεσε Well run site with very friendly staff, we spoke to a couple of gentleman working there almost daily and were knowledgeable and very nice, toilets and showers were always clean and tidy, wash up area could do with a bin though. Nice walks to the local Chimneys and mill. Chippy van visits once a week and the chips were good. Dog field is amazing, best ive seen on any campsite, its huge! It also has a tap and dog bowl and poo bin, our dog's were very happy here and the view and sunset from this field was spectacular. Based on this we would be very happy to visit again.

Δεν μου άρεσε Very strange that the owner insisted on waking the campsite up at 7.15am twice during our 4 night stay, he would tip a box of glass bottles into the recycling bin with bottles in it causing a very loud crashing sound, we were annoyed at being denied a lie in while on our holidays, it was just bizarre and unnecessary.

Μου άρεσε Very pretty site, pond looks lovely on a sunny day

Δεν μου άρεσε As you arrive you'll see a noticeboard with bits of info and a mobile phone number to text with questions or queries, we had a question so text this number but no one ever replied, bit pointless to display the number if no one replies to questions. There was a group of around 6 males staying in one pitch together, they were mainly respectful but took over the grass in the middle of the field playing football which entered a few people's pitches, not exactly peaceful as we expected. Hot water was non existent one day, we couldn't have a shower because it was very cold, couldn't wash our dishes either so went back to the van and boiled a kettle, another camper commented about there rarely being hot water. I didnt bother contacting the campsite about the lack of hot water because we'd already being waiting over 24 hours to a reply to the last text message that id sent.
