Μου άρεσε We throughly enjoyed our stay at this campsite. It’s a relatively small campsite to what we have stayed on before which was a lovely change as it was definitely more peaceful. It was more expensive than other sites but the care of the site, cleanliness etc really showed that you get what you pay for. The washroom and shower facilities were lovely, fresh and clean. Also the washing up room was immaculate. We stayed near to the children’s park which was fabulous as our little boy played there constantly - it’s a lovely big play area that is well maintained. Overall though we had an amazing time - perfect setting that is near to supermarkets, beach etc. Tip: Wednesday in the summer is pizza night and we definitely recommend this - they were very tasty! Order in advance. They have veggie and vegan options.

Δεν μου άρεσε The only minor issue we had was some parents are not as considerate in ensuring their children vacate the park at dusk (as signs state) so it can be quite loud late at night with children and young adults still in the park. This can make getting young children to sleep quite difficult so bear this in mind in where you set up camp.

Μου άρεσε Everything! Lovely site, clean and tidy. The food hut each night and bar was great especially as it had vegan options. Our 3 year old loved the games room and the kids park. It’s in a great position near the harbour and watermouth castle with Ilfracombe just a short drive away. Throughly loved our stay!

Δεν μου άρεσε You can hear road noise at the bottom of the campsite but we found it didn’t bother us, you soon get used to it and stop noticing it. Pitches are quite near to each other (compared to other places we’ve stayed) so make sure you take earplugs to drown out any snorers but this could happen anywhere you stay.
