Μου άρεσε We stayed in the orange section at the end - this seems to br the designated pitchup area - and the pitches were a great size. We had a midsize tent (berghaus air 600) with additional awning and two cars plus a trailer all on the pitch and there was still plenty of room for sitting, eating and playing. The pool was clean and slots were easy to book. Showers were nice and hot but not too hot for the kids (push buttons with no temp control).

Δεν μου άρεσε When we arrived, it wasn't overly busy in our end, the orange section was maybe 20% occupied, and the toilets and showers (mobile) were clean but as soon as the field starred filling up they quickly began to get messy and soap/loo roll ran out well before the next cleaning slot. I think they probably need to be monitored a little more.

Μου άρεσε The simplicity of this site is great, cheap and cheerful. The kids absolutely loved the sheep pen in our field and the river paddling was definitely a highlight.

Δεν μου άρεσε The sheep were released into the camping field on our second day with no warning. There was no mention of this in the site description, and it came as a shock. It made me a little uncomfortable if I'm honest as I was worried about my tent getting nibbled. This is definitely something that should be mentioned in the pitch description, especially as pregnant women shouldn't be around sheep at certain times of the year.
