Μου άρεσε The location is excellent. Access straight onto the Llanberis path. Beautiful scenery, with a view of Snowdon. Loved the "back to basics" nature of the site but with the bonus of a wash room and showers. The owners and staff are lovely and very helpful. Loved that sheep were happy wandering around too. Perfect also for stargazing and Bat watching in the evenings.

Δεν μου άρεσε Just the bins really, seemed really full to overflowing. A reflection of how much rubbish we produce I guess!

Μου άρεσε The location was great being right next to the river which accessed Coniston Water. The pitch was great, own marked out area and I liked that cars were kept off the main site. The owners were lovely and really wanted to make sure we were happy.

Δεν μου άρεσε For saying that this site was a bit back to basics, it was a lot busier than I expected. It didn't ruin the stay, I just expected it to be less busy. That said, everyone using the site was very pleasant. The Porta Loos were pretty full though, probably down to the business of the site. Could do with an empty during busy times.

Μου άρεσε Access to Castleton and surrounding area really easy on foot. Great walks from the campsite, no need to drive anywhere. Loads of room to pitch up.
