You get a little courtyard and shed space for extra bits with the pod, the pod was clean and had everything you need like plug sockets and a bed, just takes away the need for putting up a tent and doing an electric hookup, the staff were so friendly and helpful too.

Would be great if cleaning spray was supplied with the mops so you can clean better before and after showering but I understand that risk assessment probably wouldn’t allow for this!

Good big pitches, plenty of space.

Not a fan of unisex toilet/shower blocks. Luck of the draw but we had a couple of very noisy families nearby making a racket til late on and lots of barking dogs early on so not much sleep!

Stayed for a couple of nights with my adult daughter. The site was easy to find and felt very safe.
The welcome at reception was good and we were given all the info we needed for the site.
Pitch was large and comfortable and felt quiet despite it being busy.
Facilities were great, well equipped and very clean.
Owners were really friendly and helpful and we would definitely stay here again.

Very calming, you get a nice amount of space per pitch, it’s a clean environment, very helpful and knowledgeable employees who are always on hand, 20 minute walk to the beach / 25 minutes to closest pub. Loved the way the pitches are set up as there’s an exit down each section it limits the amount of cars/people passing by each morning/night which was fab for us and the dog

The site exceeded expectations. It was beautiful and so well organised, security system in place made me feel at ease and the staff were so lovely. The toilet and shower block were kept clean and tidy and the space we had around us was brilliant to let our children roam free. Would 100% recommend this site

Quiet and peaceful setting with clean warm showers with friendly and helpful staff.

Large pitches, clean facilities, helpful and friendly staff, lovely peaceful area.

It wasn't a major issue but the wifi was sometimes a bit hit and miss, this didn't really bother us though.

Approximity to Scafell which is the reason we were staying in the lake district. Close to a lovely sea side village where we could take our dog to the beach. Amazing fish and chip shop there.
Pitch size was brilliant and such a good idea to have firepits ready to use and only £10 for a massive bag of logs. Nice little shop that was good if you had forgotten anything. Great seeing the cows feeding in the morning when your at the washing up station.

Shower block we used could do with being updated.
