well laid out site with good access and well spaced out pitches. very tidy, clean and well maintained. staff were friendly and very helpful. the toilet facilities were very clean and of a good standard.
it's a great area for access to the western lakes, the beaches and the local villages. we would use this site again.

the showers were a bit low on pressure and temperature but still ok.
I thought that the recycling bins could have included glass and plastic as well as cans and cardboard.

Could do with more facilities as they are unisex I didn’t think there were enough for the size of the site

The location is great for those wishing to climb scar fel pike or just to go to the golden sand beaches. The shower room is warm and the showers hot and clean. When we first arrived the staff was very helpful and polite, gave us local information and there was a small shop.

The pitches are good with both electric and water, plus they have hard standing. You can have a fire pit however it's a static option which can't be moved so depending where you place your tent may be away from where you want it. Also due to the nature of the location some pitches can be on a little slope. But these was minor issues

Lovely site, clean facilities, perfect location, 20 min walk from Drigg Beach which was gorgeous at sunset

Very quite and well kept place barring in mind very busy working farm, was nice to wake up to the sound of cows wanting food and been able to get close to either touch or see. Ask if we could stay another day and every was fine and was sorted straight away could not of asked for a more peaceful stay away for 3 days and very helpful staff. We will be visiting again.
Small shop onsite for basics and village very close by, and disabled facilities and shower area are very good standard.

Reception was excellent. Clear and well explained all facilities.
Toilets and showers were clean and tidy, bins all good. Pitches are well laid out? Good security with a coded access gate. Location perfect for what I needed.

Really friendly staff at reception. Obviously amazing views. Free fire pits even though I didn’t use them. Pitch sizes are very generous so you’re not tripping over fellow campers. Safe site with coded gate entry. Recycling facility is a big plus for me

Not really a dislike but an observation. New shower block didn’t really have anywhere to hang clothes or put wash bag
