Location, staff nice, they’re clearly trying to improve it all but…

Noisy, squishy, no room to sit out, toilet block poor - dirty with 1 shower only, tents should be separate from caravans not mixed in, a bit expensive for what is a budget site, fresh water filling point disgusting - dirty, filling hose left on floor in with waste water, elsan point was also disgusting.

The campsite is poorly run, not clean or well maintained at all. Toilets are absolutely filthy, electricity kept going off. There was a huge problem with the older children that live on the site who thought it was funny to go around bullying the younger ones. They were vaping in the park and being nasty and aggressive to the point one of them broke my sons scooter. The owners did nothing about all of this and would not offer any compensation or refund. I would not recommend this site to anyone especially with young children. Many people left and lost there money because they refused to stay at this poorly run filthy campsite. Don't waste your money visiting here. Pay extra and stay somewhere decent and clean.

Kids like the play area. Good location to walk the dog.

Very tight area for parking a caravan. Took the corner off (so did our neighbour!).
Very dirty toilets and showers. No soap, toilet roll etc.

Arrived and was greeted with concerned faces that there may not be enough room for our tent. We were shown to the “pitch”. We could just about squeeze our tent in front of 2 other tents. We were told our car could stay on a hard standing pitch until a caravan arrived. After an hour 2 more campers arrived and squeezed their tents onto the patch of grass. It was as cramped as a festival. To make it worse the entire campsite was full of disrespectful families that were shouting and swearing at their young children. Outdoor taps were left on swamping the entire campsite. After 2 hours of being on the campsite we left to buy a windbreaker to stop drunk parents and their kids playing football in the doorway of our tent. We were then woken up at 6am to more shouting, swearing and antisocial behaviour. The kids were running riot shouting at people in the toilets, climbing up hedges and running out at cars in the road. We spent the whole day out and came back to no car parking space as one tent had 3 cars and a motorbike. After one night we decided to pack up our stuff and drive home back to south wales as the whole experience was terrible.

The “facilities” in the campsite were shocking. Faeces smeared over the toilets, urine on the seats and floors and no toilet roll. The toilets in the men’s did not flush and there was one grubby shower. The toilets had a cleaning monitoring sheet which had not been signed or touched ever. The campsite was DISGUSTING.

If you want to waste your time, energy and money then I highly recommend this site. It was only until we were in the car on the way home did we notice and pay attention to the bad reviews which all said the same.

What I mostly liked about the site was the privacy from the main road and the amount of shady parts there is when it's a bit to hot to be in the sun

The cleaning of the toilets could be a bit better

Boring site! Small shop with no stock. No swimming pool as advertised, small kids park ,toilets and showers absolutely filthy ,no hand wash at sinks, cobwebs all over toilet blocks, would not even stay here for free.
