Mid week days were super quiet was a great site to be on, great location for the tent and kids to play. Toilets were cleaned and stocked daily.

Untidy from the semi permanent residents but this was rectified after a quick email to the site. Bins not emptied very regularly. Kids riding round on dirt bikes at 9pm, broken scooters and bikes left all over the roads. No allocated plots, so come friday it was a complete free for all for all tents pitched which made us feel crammed in and unable to sensibly get the car to and from the tent.

The hardstanding pitches were relatively level.

Everything. We arrived on the Wednesday and was told to park up on any empty bay we liked. The electric hookup didn't work straight away so the man gave me a number to call to get it switched on. I rang the number a few times, going to answer phone. We were there about 3 hours before we got any electric. The park with kids running around unmonitored on dirt bikes. The facilities are disgusting, which I did read about online before booking but we're used to slumming it and only need a shower occasionally. Felt dirtier coming our the shower than when I went it. Didn't feel safe walking around on my own at night. We definitely didn't feel safe leaving the van unattended. We went out one day and came back to find someone was parked up in our bay (as apparently there is no system) so we had to park up elsewhere, closer to the unruly loud kids). Wednesday night there were people yelling to 2am and then again at 4am?! We thought this might be a one of so we stock it our for Thursday night but it was exactly the same with someone blasting music at 3am from their car. We booked 4 nights but only stuck it out for 2. We didn't want to find out what a Friday/Saturday night was going to be like. We paid way over the odds to stay up the road in another site just to have some peace and a nice shower for the last 2 days of our holiday. Please read the reviews on Google for this place. For £25 a night, it's an absolute rip off. AVOID AVOID.

I didn't get a chance to like anything as they cancelled me booking once they seen my surname as I'm part of the travelling community which means it was a case of discrimination

Very rude when I spoke to them the number on there website is the cleaner. I asked him to get someone from the office to call me which never happened. I had to call them a number of times regarding my refund.

Pitches

There was a racist Irish family who probably hate me. The children made several attempts to scandalise me there, one day I was hit with dirty gloves, then hit by a rubber hose, they sent their little girls to follow me into the toilets. All concerns were raised. They demanded where I come from originally & I still have the text messages of the complaints I made. This family is toxic & no good for the Campsite.
Children are not supervised when using toilet as late as 10pm.
I have no issues booking there but that this family is no good.

Didn't like anything

No, security on gate,even though it said vehicles would be unable to enter site after 11pm ,not true.
The toilets were dirty, mould in shower.No plugs for bath or sinks.No light in bathroom.The shower in Ladies block doesn't lock.People using the water taps putting hosepipes on them all day .
I slipped over whilst taking a shower in the disabled shower.
It was a free for all in the evening no quiet time ie.people making noise all hours of the evening.Unable to sleep.
It was more for people who work away from home stayed here, even though it did say on website no vehicles with advertising on the site there were plenty of vehicles with writing on from Roofing company's,etc.
No specific places to pitch a tent,could pitch up anywhere.
Lack of bins on the site
Litter bins weren't emptied enough or not at all.
This site is not a FAMILY FRIENDLY site. There are no site rules if there are any rules they were flouted,continously. No enough staff on site.

Nice and quiet

Apart from one night when the irish residents sang until 1.30am. Also the pitch numbers are not displayed so every one camps where they can fit in. The camping toilets and shower were basic but the caravan toilets were better

Good price and value for money. Nice location.

Didn't seem to be much organisation or management. The tent pitches were a free for all which meant we struggled to find a space near an electric hookup which we had paid for, and then werent sure how much space we had for our pitch which wouldnt invade other campers parking spaces etc. Could benefit from line markings to indicate pitches. The shop wasnt open while we were there which we could have used and the showers were not stocked up or bins emptied often enough. We felt the management were overwhelmed.
