We have camped many years now and have never stayed anywhere like this
We read the reviews beforehand and went with the impression it can’t be that bad how wrong we were !!
First impressions when you drive in are nice but as soon as you begin to pitch up and look around you get the feeling of the campsite residents( many commercial vehicles and kids just left to run around destroying the site throwing rubbish around and throwing things in the wooden pods windows ( felt for people staying in them)
The road that runs alongside the campsite is noisy but they can’t do anything about that
You can have a open fire ( although it says you can not) well everybody did as no one checks

Toilets/showers cleaned (if you called it cleaning placing a loo roll in the cubicle) 1x a day then trashed by midday by the resident kids on site never seen so many ways you can decorate a toilet with toilet roll and flood a bathroom
Showers disgusting if you do visit use the ones near the shop but be prepared to have a shower with kids screaming through the block swearing and shouting
Resident kids on site rude and disrespectful, you say anything to them you get a mouthful of abuse back and then your kids take the abuse after that
You shouldn’t have to go to the toilets every time with you kids as they were scared of being locked in the toilets and the abuse they got that’s not a family friendly campsite !!!!
Nothing nearby -don’t take photos on pitch up literally no pool and pub a good walk away as you have to go down country lanes as the main road is to dangerous to walk Down ( main a road and no footpaths)
Photos of showers and toilets other people have posted are very truthful
All facilities need updating and cleaning
Basically if we hadn’t paid we would have pitched up somewhere else but we were determined not to let all of the above ruin our time in Devon

In a nutshell won’t be back would not recommend and if you have booked ask for a refund

The location, the pitches, the facilities and the price. Site is suitable to actual campers that need a pitch and basic facilities.showers, Bath, sinks toilets, laundry services and a basic shop. Perfect, had a warm welcome on arrival and a choice of pitches with hook up.

Absolutely nothing!

Disgusting place should be closed down. Broken toilets, blocked chemical disposal. Barriers open to anyone. Shop closed, no one in the office. Pitches not allocated, so if you go out in your motorhome, someone else may be on your pitch when you return.

Very nice and quiet campsite , nice and clean shower block , toilete paper available in toilete 😉

Not very much.

No one at reception. Tried three times. Called both phone numbers but got voice mail.
Mens toilet was locked so had to use a very old disabled bathroom at the ladies. Had no contact with any management so no wifi available. Only one shower at the ladies which was leaking all over so we didn't shower.

Het was nog erg rustig op de camping omdat het vakantie seizoen nog niet was begonnen.
We stonden op het tenten veld. De ligging van de camping is goed

Als je geen hoge eisen stelt kunnen de toilet gebouwen ermee door. Het werd regelmatig schoongemaakt maar is wel aan renovatie toe.

Toilets ,showers ,bath, pot washing area ,slush was back up on many visits ,no staff around only by phone call which was answered 24 hours later, main gate was locked before stated time 11pm .shop had nothing worth buying rarely opened .site was full of work men who was loud at 2am in the morning and drunk then again at 6am when going to work .play area for the kids was unsafe as my boy was on the swings and hole wooden structure moved as he swung on the swings had to pull my boy of them for safty reasons. The hole campsite is a rubbish pit and needs to be closed down .highly do not recommend this site nor should you pitch up .com .shame on you aswell .

Quiet . Not crowded. Grass and borders nicely kept.

Plot needs numbering so you can go out and come back to same place.

Good value and friendly staff
