Worst site I’ve ever encountered, allowed us to travel 3 hours with a toddler to be told we have no pitches, no electric and the entire place was flooded but you can go stick your tent under a tree somewhere. Left immediatky and now completely ignored when trying to get refund. The reviews for camping on trip advisor are horrendous

Pitches were difficult to drive onto as so water logged.
Toilets and showers were only cleaned once a day, with pouring rain and muddy pitches this needed more frequent cleaning.
Was an extremely unpleasant stay

My daughter will be putting this review on Facebook as facilities for older and Disabled people are not 'Fit for Purpose'.
Arrival poor as we were told Tuesday was the caretakers day off so just find any pitch. Many were flooded from the rain (that before the storm arrived).
The toilets were dirty mid-afternoon, by the evening all the toilet paper was gone.
I am disabled with low immunity so decided to use the disabled toilets to shower.
NO hooks to hang clothes and towels on.
NO stool to sit on to get dressed.
Shower Drainage broken (part missing)
Non-slip floor very dirty in corners and edges.
No dry flooring or board to dry and dress.
No sign of anyone checking or cleaning.

Staff are welcoming, personable and polite. Facilities were superb - hot showers and clean toilets. Weather was a bit wet so ground was very soggy with receiption kindly contacting us before we set off to warn us and allow us to rebook, alas we continued as a camping holiday in the rain is only as you make it! Plenty for the kids to do onsite (weather depending of course).

Pitches were not maintained I know they can’t Control the weather but we was given the option of pitching in mud or puddles no body checking the state of the ground it really was horrible , swimming pool had to be booked but was still over crowded somehow.
We left 3 days early it was not nice

The entertainment and park facilities

Tent pitches were unsuitable, you could not get pegs into ground. All pitches were water logged and no support giving from park staff, no electric, no water. Free for all regarding pitch selection.

Due to been water logged this caused damage to personal items as well as electrical items

Entertainment was good allowed in with the dog witch was great, shower’s and toilet blocks were nice

Well…..grassed pitches are like lakes when it rains here it’s wet for days with water standing on pitches.drainage here is really really bad even after we were told they have had new drainage installed on site (Stevie wonder must done it).

We could have paid for a non electric pitch and just pitched on an electric pitch and no one would have know!
Paid for the dog to come witch I shouldn’t have an just brought him along as no one knows what’s going on on site you are never checked on!

The onsite entertainment though small was everything you need arcade, swimming pool, crafts for smaller children amd night time entertainment was good but we only went for 1 night of out stay.

The shower block the drains always seems to be blocked with hair so the water wouldn't really go anywhere and as there's no room in the cubicle for you things with them getting g wet ment you had to leave most of your clothes and shoes in the open area with the hair dryers ns since the floor was really wet inside the shower cubicle most people were getting dressed in open area where other females were. Also the we had very wet and windy dy conditions while camping and unfortunately there's no ground drainage At all which ment alot of pitches were fully flooded out including mine and my friends pitch next door which was worse. Loads of people had to leave early including myself losing 2 days of our holiday. I understand weather. Cant be helped but I also think the park should have precautions in place rather then the whole of the campsite turning into swamp and the roads turning into ponds. The reception team wernt very helpful to others that were worse off and left before we did saying there's nothing they can do and it's there choice to cut the holiday short. There tent was flooded and they had no where to sleep and items inside were damaged and no compassion from the reception. We didn't even bother asking them anything about our lost days knowing it would fall on deaf ears. It would of been nice in good weather or better precautions for bad weather especially since the area is likely to be wet most seasons. Will not be going again
