Not good for money. We booked that pitch when we were visiting lake district. It was about one hour away from windermere.very basic pitch with no privacy and swimming pool was not available on that day. It was a terrible stay

Didn't like anything there

Entertainment was fantastic all weekend and the safe were so polite and helpful when we asked about things. Food was lovely especially the little pizza van.

The stone underneath the grass so we struggles to get tent pegs in the floor

Had a brilliant time although they had been terenciall rain before we arrived. The ground was absolutely drenched and at that time we was going to go back home after 3 hours getting there. However the site manager got us a dryer patch then most if them.. so we pitched up after his judgment and the weather this weekend was good and it did dry up.. although still very muddy we had a great time with the family including 2 grandchildren aged 6 and 4. They absolutely loved it. The shower facilities was clean and modern. Entertainment was good, and food in the restaurant was reasonably priced and very good. The pizza hut was very enjoyable i must say. Everything was better than expected but most of all Silloth is a lovely place. Very stunning on the promenade front with a great arcade to entertain the younger ones.. glad we stayed all in all. We will definitely return next year.. thank you .

Prices really good, but site was a free for all with no restrictions after 11am, lot of noise every night with drunks, music blasting out from other caravans, until well into the night. The place also stunk everywhere of pot, Not recommend it especially taken children.

The staff at the kids activities were ace. Keith & Rich were favourites for our kids. The staff at reception and in the on site shop were lovely too.

We didn't dine in the main restaurant as we were told our dog wasn't aloud in but we could sit outside in the cold if we wanted. Normal did we see any of the evening entertainment as dogs aren't welcome there either.
This was annoying as I was told when I enquired before booking that this is dog friendly park and we paid extra so he could come!
The toilets and showers (particularly the mens) were not clean, sinks purposely blocked with toilet roll and soak and toilet roll dispensers not very well replenished.
The 1st 2 nights were very loud with both adults aswell as children literally shouting constantly late into the night aswell as as soon as they were up from 6:30am in the morning.
There had been lots of heavy rain fall so all the grass pitches were very mudy or flooded

We never got to see anything as we only stayed one night because of the weather.

The pitches we so muddy and therefore churned up making everywhere difficult to walk anywhere. Getting our motor of the pitch was quite difficult.

Grass pitches have no drainage just mud if it’s been raining ( we lost 2 days holiday to offer of refund only other dates )
WI FI can be available but Not on touring pitches
Some people who stay on the Touring must be animals
The toilets and the showers were disgustingly muddy foot prints everywhere / Toilet rolls stuffed in couple of bowels and to cap it off someone had been sick in one of the gent’s urinals outside large mobile bar blasts loud music all day Why ?
The outside chip shop sells lukewarm chips

Surroundings, facilities and touring area in particular a really good setting.

Showers and toilets need cleaning more regularly, at times they were unusable this was the only negative as everything else was spot on.

Enjoyed everything the site had to offer toilet and shower rooms was always clean, the club was great for the little ones and there was plenty of activities, would definitely recommend to family and friends

The restaurant food

Swimming baths, tiny pool no activities within very plain basic boring really. Arcade wasn’t very much choice overpriced, tickets won for merchandise the merchandise and quantity of tickets for it was most out of reach. Activities no availability and wasn’t much choice not much flexibility with times for young children. Power cut for over three hours leaving customers with no power facilities food or drinks.
