Close to all amenities, toilets/shower block, washing up facilities was great! 2min walk to the entertainment centre & park. Very clean & tidy. Friendly staff and fellow campers. More of a relaxed setting perfect if you don’t like loud environments.

Excellent pitch size and very tidy site. All utilities are spotless and well maintained.10 mins to seafront and shops also close by.Staff are helpful and pleasant.Very good fish and chip / Chinese takeaway 5 mins walk away. Looking to rebook already for our next trip.

Price of drinks and food all too dear! Unable to use swimming pool due to activities yet it was mt! Caravan and tents all yo close together safety rules abandoned! Dog poo bins never emptied in all our 11days we stayed even after it told site man they were over flowing!

The facilities

Bathrooms were not always very clean

The camp was very clean. The toilet/shower blocks were good condition and we'll kept. Staff were very polite and helpful.

Some drinks prices were expensive, particularly cildrens.

Liked were they put us next to toilet block. Showers for men disgusting you had to hold button in to shower you could not do your back because button was about 4 foot in the air, so you could not wash your back. Also they packed every caravan in so tight real fire risk. Definitely will not be back. Also they charged 6 pounds per pint.

• We were able to borrow a ladder to repair some damage to our caravan

We have just returned from a touring caravan holiday at Breydon water holiday park resort in Great Yarmouth and were very disappointed with our experience. In fact, we were so unhappy with the site that we left 2 days early. We have never been so keen to leave a holiday camp.
Our trip didn’t start well as the signage to the site was non-existent. The signs are marked for Yare Village but we booked for Breydon water holiday park therefore we drove past the site twice.
The welcome was chaotic. The pitch marking are not clear so we were left waiting to be told where our boundaries were. In the end another caravaner told us so we could park our caravan. When someone did finally come to talk to us we were asked to “straighten” our caravan up to keep the site looking tidy but tents seem to pitch wherever they liked. Having said that the staff did change our designated when we requested an end pitch.
Once we had set up we went over for drinking water only to find there was no hose which meant that more water went over the floor or you. What a waste of water! When I mentioned this to a staff member later in our stay I was told “it’s your responsibility to bring your own hose” We have never had this on any other site we have been on.
The showers and toilets, while clean, are always cold because the door is always open.
The showers also require you to keep your hand on the button to keep the water flowing leaving you trying to wash one handed. I was told this is to save water, yet they happily leave water running all over the place at the drinking water tap. I did make a complaint about this while on site but I got the feeling that it wasn’t going to be taken any further.
No information of the local area is provided (e.g. Bus routes, local attractions, amenities etc.). For such a big site these are the things you would expect.
Trying to connect to the Wifi was hard work then after all the hassle you can’t get onto it anyway unless you sit in or outside the entertainment centre. We were told it depended on where on the site you were staying yet there were damaged wifi transmitters all over the site.
During our stay and several walks around the site I did not see one poo bin despite the many dogs on site.
You are provided with a map of how to get to the site because it is actually on the other Parkdean site further down the road from Yare village.
The map to the shop is very misleading. Given the size of the size and the distance to the other site surely it would be better to have a shop on both sites. Older customers may find it difficult to get to the shop.
There is no curfew on noise and nobody is out monitoring this. There is no form of security either during the day or night.
The amount of campers having very late noisy gatherings made it very hard to get a good night’s sleep. The noise went on till gone midnight most nights.
We also had a problem with our aerial and one of your staff very kindly lent us his ladder so that we could fix it.

Campsite was called Yare Village not Breydon Water Holiday Park so that was not easy to find. Daft to do thar.

Check in was quick, etc. Site clean and pretty level for tents.

Very noisy and no staff warden about the early hours night time to tell people to quieten down around 21:00. Kids screaming, very toy machine guns, a fair drunken people talking very loud. I'm born deaf with a hearing aid. It was very noisy!

Could do with toilet paper in the early mornings. All empty but only one cubicle had a half a roll.
