Syntes om Fabulous rural location on a working farm with amazing views. The hosts are lovely and have a range of farm produce on sale, so I enjoyed delicious steak and eggs cooked on a campfire. A 'proper' camping experience, with no electrical hookups or marked pitches - just nature (and a super-clean composting loo and washing up facilities!)

Syntes om A fabulous little site in a great location with wonderful views. The toilet and shower block is basic, but spotlessly clean and well maintained. Drinking water on-site is perfectly clean. Your host, Nicola, is also really friendly and helpful. I'm sure I'll be back!

Syntes om This is a top-quality site at a wonderful location. I was greeted by a delightful lady on arrival who was super helpful, and the pitches are well marked and maintained. The only thing that spoiled my stay and prevents me from scoring 10/10 was…

Syntes ikke om …other campers. My hopes of a serene night in the woods were dashed by the clowns in the next pitch playing dance music ‘till midnight. Who finally turned it off just as another group of total asshats turned up (6hrs after the stated latest check-in time) pitched next to me with all the loud blowing up of mattresses and stuff, then stayed up gasbagging loudly around a campfire until 6am! I left my tent at 3am to ask for quiet, to no avail. So the only thing that could improve this site, is better enforcement of site policies. I may return, but with earplugs.

Fra bestyreren: Thanks for your review Phil. We are so sorry you were disturbed by other campers. We do try hard to enforce the "quiet after 10pm" policy and walk round the site each evening to check all is peaceful. We aren't always able to pick up every issue so we provide a number for you contact so that an on call member of staff can come out and speak to any noisy campers.
