Syntes om Location, quiet, helpful owner, woods to walk the dog, cleanliness of facilities

Syntes ikke om Food - even sandwiches, as there is no local pub. Half the pitch had no grass so would have been muddy if wet.

Syntes om Toilet facilities were clean and fresh, location was good with proximity to good walks. Dog exercise field was good. Socket to charge phones.

Syntes ikke om Half the pitch was mud and there was no room elsewhere for the tent which I had paid extra for. Dirt got in the van when it was perfectly dry elsewhere. Reception was offhand though eventually helpful. No wifi info provided. Only basic facilities.

Fra bestyreren: Thank you for your feedback – we’re really pleased you enjoyed the location, walks, and our facilities, especially the dog exercise field. We’re sorry to hear that part of your pitch was muddy. This was due to an awning having just been removed from the pitch prior to your arrival, which can leave the ground soft, particularly with recent weather conditions. Had this been raised during your stay, we would have happily looked at alternative options with you where possible. We’d also like to clarify that there are plenty of grass areas around each pitch suitable for pup tents, so there should have been space available nearby. If you’d spoken to us at the time, we would have gladly helped you find the best setup. WiFi is not currently available on site, and this is clearly stated in our pitch information so guests know what to expect before arrival. We’re also sorry if you felt reception was offhand, as this certainly wasn’t our intention. We always aim to be friendly, approachable, and helpful, and we’re glad we were able to assist you. We do appreciate your feedback and will continue working to improve wherever we can.
