Syntes ikke om I can only think that our poor experience was due to it being bank holiday weekend. - the noise at this campsite was terrible, music booming, people shouting, cars moving around, someone even arrived at 10pm slamming doors - there was literally no space and privacy at this site because everyone was cramped in and no pitches are marked. We ended up in nettles. I feel it is a bit greedy not to have a limit on numbers on such a bank holiday weekend - pricey for what you get - basically a hot shower - and that’s one shower for about 200 people. No rubbish or washing up facilities. 3 composting toilets.

Fra bestyreren: Thank you for your review. Appologies for the lack of hot water in the one toilet and shower room on one occasion this weekend. The hot water is normally boosted in the day time at busy periods, but it was missed to be done on one day this weekend. We always have a portaloo on site as an extra facility. This was a very busy weekend due to the Jubilee celebrations, we hope this did not spoil your visit to the area.

Syntes om Really really friendly and quiet campsite. Karen was super helpful with local knowledge :) Pitches were well spaced. Facilities very clean!!

Syntes ikke om Very very slanted field so make sure you have levelling chocks or enjoy sleeping on a hill if in a tent

Fra bestyreren: Hi Claire, thank you for your review. We do have some sloping pitches and blocks and levelling equipment are supplied. However, all of our tent pitches are level. Cheers. :)

Syntes om Adult only, very quiet campsite!!! Large field to exercise your dog/have off lead! Facilities really clean, hot water! Also loved the personal touches insides ladies bathroom - spare moisturiser, face wipes, hairspray etc - even free hairdryers and straighteners!
