Syntes om Pitch sizes are excellent and the site is predominantly flat. A free to use charging station for mobile phones is a good touch. A short walk to the pub in the village. On site catering. The composting toilets were great when the others weren't available.

Syntes ikke om The facilities, whilst clean, didn't meet expectations for the price paid. The site suffers from low water pressure which meant the toilets often didn't flush and the showers were a dribble. There's also not enough toilets/showers for the number of pitches, so people were frequently queuing. There's no real place to be able to have just a wash. There are a few communal sinks but they're only good for teeth brushing. The chemical waste disposal is right behind the washing/shower area, and doesn't have a trap, so you get drain smells when people are emptying. The WiFi only worked intermittently due to too many people being connected. The advertising gives the impression that there's direct access to the lakes from the site - there isn't. Many of the problems stated were as a result of the number of people on the site, which was busy due to the August bank holiday. This is partly due to the flat pricing structure - it was £40/night for up to 6 people. This makes it very expensive for a couple and means the owners don't really know how many people they need to be able to cater for.
