Syntes om A lovely, quiet campsite with great-sized pitches. It felt very safe for the children, and the whole site was clean, tidy and really well looked after. We had a lovely stay!

Syntes ikke om The toilets were really disgusting and often quite unpleasant. I actually felt sorry for the staff who seemed to be constantly going in to clean them. The campsite was also extremely noisy. Obviously, when staying at a family campsite you expect a certain level of noise, especially from children — hearing a baby crying during the night, for example, wouldn’t bother me at all. However, having two drunk men directly outside our tent at 2am shouting, swearing and drinking beer is completely different. There were also lots of children still riding around on bikes and making noise well after 11pm. The pitches are very small and packed closely together, and overall the site didn’t feel particularly well maintained. For the price we paid, we expected a much better experience. Unfortunately, we wouldn’t return. This was only our second camping trip, and if it had been our first, I genuinely think it would have put us off camping for life.
