Syntes om Loved this site from start to finish. It is busy but clean, organised and well spaced on touring pitches. Super friendly team Quiet - so so quiet on a night. I loved this given how busy it was. 2 fantastic play areas which the kids loved and felt really safe. Play barn Padel court Footie pitch Well stocked shop Clean functional bathrooms. Great location Coffee van came both days. We will be back!

Syntes ikke om Minor point but we were given a pitch near a stone water tap and fire point. We were able to manoeuvre in but it did mean constant people coming to the pitch to fill water, brush teeth and empty water. What was weird is the other pitches were empty so we could have had one of them? Strange. Pitch was quite challenging to level but we managed it.

Syntes om The pitch size is great and spacious. Easy to drive into and set up. Private to a degree which was lovely Site is super quiet as there is no club house etc which we dont like. It means kids are truly safe to ride their bikes and scooters. Little park at top of site which is safe and decent size. Good spots for football too. But dont go here if you want activities for the kids it isnt that type of site (which is why we like it!) Location is spot on for exploring this part of Yorkshire too. Lovely walks just outside the site too into Slingsby which has a small park and tyre swing. Toilets & showers were basic but clean(ish) and good that they were contained in one cubicle so truly private when needed. I liked this element vs other caravan sites we’d stayed at.

Syntes ikke om Shop had limited stock but we know this as we go to this site regularly so stock up before arriving. It’s open 1hr on a morning and 1hr on an afternoon. Wifi which is free is useless as I know most people have mentioned. And normal service is limited due to location so note this before travelling (download books ahead of trip etc)

Our shop is intentionally kept small, to provide the essentials, with opening hours designed to cover the busiest times of day. With regard to the Wi-Fi, we do operate a fair usage policy, meaning download speeds are managed so that all guests can access the service. This does mean it isn't intended for high-bandwidth activities such as streaming films or downloading large files, as these can significantly affect the connection for everyone on the park. Had you mentioned any issues during your stay, we'd have been more than happy to look into the websites or apps you were trying to use and the device you were connecting with, as this can sometimes help us identify a specific problem.
