Syntes om Lovely friendly campsite. Very friendly reception when we arrived. Large, well spaced pitches. Incredibly clean facilities including a communal fully equipped kitchen, and great sized shower cubicles. Fab walk down through the fields to the Montgomery canal, along to the queens head in one direction and the navigation in the other direction. Peaceful site (even when it filled up at the weekend) with great views. Will definitely return!

Syntes om Lovely, clean, picturesque site. Right next to the lake and only a short walk to the canal. Ellesmere is only a short distance away. Plenty of shops, pubs and takeaways.

Syntes ikke om Not a dislike as such, but toilets are a bit of a trek in the dark. But I'll just bring the toilet tent next time 😂

Syntes om Lovely quiet site. But then we pretty much had the adult area to ourselves. The wardens were really lovely and do a great job of keeping the site clean and tidy. Clean showers and toilets and love the fact that the radio is streamed into the block. Although, if anyone else heard me singing along, they probably wouldn't have appreciated it. Fab little on site shop with the essentials. The view from the bank in the adult only area is beautiful. Especially enjoy watching the farmer harvesting next door.

Syntes om Pretty much everything! Such a lovely, quiet, clean site. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. Shower blocks and toilet are clean and heated (so welcome after a windy day kayaking at Loe Beach!). There's a nice walk to do over the road in the fields, with a stream running through - we spotted a few fish and some dragonflies whilst having a wander. The site is close to a bus route, and if you're driving then it won't take you long to get to Falmouth or Truro. The wifi on the camping pitches is not great, but i can't put it as a dislike, because i didn't come camping to sit on my phone all day, so wasn't personally bothered. Neither of us had been camping in many years, and we loved it. Thank you for helping to reignite an old passion! We'll be back the same time next year :)

Fra bestyreren: Oh gosh, we're so very happy to reignite the old camping passion! Equally, we're most delighted that you took the time to share your happy experience of our little corner of Cornwall. We did have some WiFi problems which we were late in being told about and rectified within the day they were reported to us. We would urge customers to report such problems, even if they think we're aware of them as we were not in this instance. A replacement antenna solved the issue and all is good to go now.
