Syntes om Quite easy to get to. Post code took us direct to the road leading up to the site. Nice welcome. Clean facilities. Great views I was able to get a sheltered spot and there is a smaller field that has limited sheltered spots available Would be a good spot to camp for Hadrians wall walk though!

Syntes ikke om The track is a little rough going into the smaller field, but my car was able to cope. No hot water in the morning for a shower. Wasn't sure if it was all gone or if it was an actual problem. There wasn't a lot of people when I stayed (early sept) Nothing to do with the site: Local shop is approx 9 mile round trip.

Syntes om Friendly staff Site was flat, some sites have had a slope Pretty place in the sunlight Clean facilities Ground was soft with very few rocks

Syntes ikke om I know the site cannot do anything about the wind but a few trees, bushes or hedge to shelter the tents would be my only thought. as the wind was blowing a gale (nothing the site can do) but I did have the big tent pegs to secure my tent. Again, nothing the site can do but very little signal on the mobile network. The site had WiFi though at one end of the site.
