Syntes om We stayed in the main field, lovely and flat with a nice view of the beautiful manor house. Facilities were clean. The showers and washing up are in a gorgeous old stable building. We had an issue with loud music and George rectified this for us.

Syntes om Lovely small campsite for those who want quiet country side and minimal facilities. Very friendly campsite owner and great walks straight from the site.

Syntes ikke om Didn't dislike anything but just to let others know, access is via some pretty narrow lanes although there's not much traffic. And payment is cash to the owner, he comes around to collect it.

Syntes om If you like back to basics camping, this is perfect. Slightly sloped field, views over fields with wildlife, great country walks straight from the campsite. Pub, cafe, excellent butchers all within a reasonable walk.

Syntes om Lovely flat field, great private shower rooms and excellent additional facilities like a 'lounge' room where you can charge phones etc. A full sized fridge / freezer. Very friendly camp hosts with a relaxed atmosphere. Excellent rules on social distancing.

Fra bestyreren: Dear Linda - Thank you so much for your kind review and I am greatly comforted by your words and observations. I do want to run a relaxed site but in order for everyone to enjoy themselves and relax, some rules have to be observed. Not that I like the word rules! But I think that conscientious campers who understand what I am trying to achieve here, is so helpful to all fellow campers. The social distancing and covid-19 restrictions and requirements have been a worry to me - but again, I believe we all understand the seriousness of the situation and are naturally now very cautious, and sensible, about social distancing. And I truly want to shout this from the tree tops! that every camper on site this year has behaved with enormous dignity and respect when it comes to social distancing. No one wants to be shouted at - as I have experienced many times when I visit shops. Treat each other with respect! Thank you again.
