Syntes om Quiet and Peaceful location situated within a short drive to some lovely local pubs; Cock Inn and the George. Well equipped Kitchen area & clean toilet and wash facilities. Hosts Charlotte & Joe were welcoming and helpful and the Cabins whilst basic were everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The grounds and lakes are amazing and a beautiful spot to unwind.

Syntes om Returned to Gosfield for a second time now. Location is beautiful, pitches are clean, well maintained and quiet. Good play area for the kids and the Apple Tree restaurant is a lovely spot for dinner and is very conveniently located on the edge of site. There is also a breakfast/lunch spot on site adjacent to the lake which makes for a nice spot to look out. Welfare facilities are clean and tidy and all you need.

Syntes om Friendly and welcoming hosts. Peaceful and quiet location with beautiful grounds to wander. The A Frame was really lovely, well equipped and cosy, with more than enough space for us as a family with young children. The kids loved the pull down ladder with access to the sleeping area and thr futon bed was large enough for two. We loved the Airfield and seeing the aeroplanes and we were lucky enough to watch some take off, which was a great experience. Their is nice pub just 5 minutes drive away that serves lovely food and local beers and the rural roads are quiet and picturesque. We will definitely return and would highly recommend.

Syntes om Owners were welcoming and helpful, Pitch areas were clean and well kept. Facilities clean and well maintained. Pub literally a 5 minute walk from site with excellent food.

Syntes om Everything. We were greeted by Alan who extremely welcoming. His hospitality really did make the stay something like nothing we've experienced before and the family friendliness really did make such a difference when compared to other places we have stayed. The Farm is in a beautiful & peaceful location with plenty of space around. It has a beautiful river located at the bottom of the field and the area is filled with wildlife. It has immaculate Shower & toilet facilities, washing up area and fridge freezer. The grounds are beautifully maintained with a natural pond that at the edge of the field. Our children, Aged 2 & 5 had an amazing time, with so much thought in to making this a family friendly retreat, from the Play area & sand pit, to Zip-line & outdoor activities, not fogetting the friendly animals that meet and greet you. The farm is a short walk tp the local village, with local shops, butchers and pub & just a 10 minute drive to Finchingfield where you can enjoy more of the areas beauty. Hill Top Farm really is a beautiful and family friendly spot and the hospitality of the owners really did add to our already perfect stay.

Syntes om The farm and Animals were lovely to see and the pitch anywhere was nice. Staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating.

Fra bestyreren: Thanks for taking the time to write a review about your stay with us. We are pleased that you enjoyed yourselves. £25 per night has remained our pitch fee for the 3rd year running and really is great value, as it includes entry for up to 6 people (usual entry price would be £36) to the whole farm, all animal encounters and there really is so much going on! However, once again we are round to the same negative comments about the toilet blocks, which we feel to be hugely unfair and are very sad to hear. We are not sure of people’s expectations of a working farm and off grid wild campsite but our listing here on pitch up states that there is a solely a chemical toilet (portaloo). We have hugely improved this by adding 2 flushing toilets to the camping area and a gas hot water shower. We have no plans to change these again as to do so would mean planning applications and expensive alterations, which would have to be reflected in the cost of your stay. Muddy floors do not equal dirty toilets! You do not traipse in and out of your own bathroom at home with muddy wellies on, or sit children on the toilet with muddy swinging little feet and take a shower in your outside shoes. We are in the great outdoors and it’s never going to look like the Ritz I’m afraid! The toilets are regularly checked and cleaned and we never find them in a state that we would consider to be unacceptable. If it had of been then a simple chat with a staff member would have ensured that any problems were resolved quickly. Kind Regards The Daisy May’s Team
