Syntes ikke om We found toilets to be covered in bugs. I know it’s nature but because the lights were right at the doors as soon as the lights went on you were surrounded with bugs.wouldnt stop us returning though

Syntes om Lovely friendly site, clean toilets and showers, laundry and freezer facilities available although we didn’t use them. Nice little pub on site too. Our hook up wasn’t long enough but they sorted us a extension no bother at all. Shame we had to come home a night early due to the weather forecast but that was no fault of the site we just made our own judgement for our family. Nice little play area for the children to run around too. Local supermarket 5 minute drive away We would definitely recommend this site to others and will definitely be returning in the summer.

Syntes om Nothing bad to say about this place. We was welcomed from the minute we got there by Chris, he was always on hand and helpful. Made time to chat to people and always had a smile. The toilets were clean and tidy and shower cubicles had plenty of space. Fire pits and logs available every evening, brought round by Chris for anyone wanting to purchase them. Lovely family pub, if your older children are well mannered and behaved they can use the dart boards and pool tables, my two lads loved this. We will definitely be returning again

Syntes ikke om Nothing bad to say about this site, maybe an additional toilet block on the top fishing field would be a bonus of a night for children but I wouldn’t mark it down for this and would definitely still give five stars. It is just maybe a idea for the future

Syntes om One of the best sites we have stayed on. We came with our three children ages 12, 11 and 7 and they all loved it. Facilities immaculate, toilets well stocked and clean at all times, although porta loos they were much cleaner than any other toilets we have used on a camp site, even impressed my 7 year old who is a bit of a toilet snob! Shower was very hot and spacious. sand pit was a huge hit and the den making area was fantastic, my husband and children had lots of fun making a hammock and den. owners were spot on, always around to ask questions but never made us feel like we were being watched. we felt very relaxed and felt millions of miles away from home when in fact we were only half an hour. camp fires and bbq were great and plenty of logs onsite to buy, even offered a wheelbarrow to transport them across the site. beautiful off road walks, and plenty of space for the children to play. I was very impressed that all dogs were kept on long leads at all times, for a family who has children who have a fear of dogs this was a huge hit and allowed them to play without worrying Thankyou for a fab few days, we will hopefully be back again before the winter sets in.

Syntes ikke om Only thing I could maybe suggest being different was where the den area was located, my 7 year old wanted the freedom to go by herself but being so close to the entrance we preferred someone to be with her as it was a bit hidden away. maybe other side of toilets or in the corner would be a fab place to keep an eye on them but still give them the freedom they want. Having said this it will not stop us from coming back next month as it was a fab idea and I would still rate it a 5* campsite!.
