Syntes om Stayed in a yurt with family of 4 and a border collie, second year of visiting (used our own tent last year). Communication was great. Site amazing. No signal or electricity which is one reason why we came. Log burner a god send as it rained pretty much the whole time we was there. Site gets muddy but can be expected when you are in the wettest part of the lakes. Still manageable though. To get to showers you have to walk on the road but I love this feature. Part of the reason I love camping is because you have to 'work' for the little things but it makes you appreciate life more and you get to be in the moment and see the views. Loved that we didn't have to really bring anything, great with a family and a small car. Loved being by the water and hearing it at night. Site is a great location for plenty of walks. Not too far from keswick either.
