Syntes om Its location was great close to the beach. The pool was perfect for what we needed, it was quiet. Plus the showers were great. The who booked is was great full of knowledge and even came back to open up after our late arrival.

Syntes ikke om The narrow drive wasn't ideal for motorhomes and there was only a couple of spots to plug in.

Syntes om Anything that could be liked, not much was offset by an horrific attitude from the owner/manger

Syntes ikke om The place was chosen due to its location and opening hours. We knew we would arrive close to closing but the delay of the boat arrival made getting there in time even more important. However managed to get to the place with 30 minutes to go. Due to the drive we were unable to get food enroute. Therefore when we arrived we were very hungry, there was no open shop on site so went to find somewhere local. There was nothing. Made our way back to find that he had closed the gate. This is when things got very difficult. An aggressive man who did not want to open the gate, more concerned that the "english" always caused problems did not want to open up. He was happy to leave us outside but continuing bemoan the English. Not a great attitude to have. He eventually relented when may uncle explained that he was very ill due to his cancer and needed his rest due to the travel we had gone during the day. On our 4 week break we stayed at 8 sites and this was the only place that had such an attitude. Thank goodness it was a single night stay.

At that hour, it is completely normal for the gate to be closed and for the snack bar to no longer be serving. While we always strive to welcome our guests warmly, there are practical limits to what can be done at midnight. The complaints you made upon arrival were not justified, as our staff followed standard closing procedures. It is important to understand that the rules exist for everyone’s safety and comfort, and arriving late requires some flexibility and respect for these rules. The fact that you singled out “the English” is surprising and unnecessary—our rules and practices apply equally to everyone, regardless of nationality. Syntes om The owner and other guests were so welcoming. They had a restaurant and bar, it was much needed. Lovely out of the way location
