Syntes om Small quiet site on the very edge of Chapel Saint Leonards. 15 minute walk through adjacent caravan sites to the North Sea Observatory on the shore where food and coffee are served and dogs are welcome. The main centre of the town is a further 15 minutes walk away where you will find full seaside facilities. There is a small car park adjacent to the toilets but there also is a long-term car park which is much cheaper. And in fact is free for the first two hours. The campsite is well maintained and the grass was in excellent condition. The toilet facilities consist of two toilets and a shower which were adequate as there were few people on the site and they were also clean.

Syntes om Toilet block was clean and warm. We were there when it was not busy which was nice. Staff very helpful and friendly. Dog friendly. Visited Castle Howard gardens with dog which was a pleasant walk.

Syntes ikke om Camping field grass was a bit long in places but fairly level. Toilet block is near the entrance so a little walk to get there but that’s camping. Be prepared for noisy wildlife. This is a remote area and would suit walkers and cyclists.
