Syntes om Quiet sight with great facilities. Occasionally would run out of toilet paper in the toilets but there was regular topping up happening. Big pitches and a large tent field that the kids could play on. Good WIFI and information hut available with plenty of suggestions of things to do. Great access in terms of location the east coast. We had an amazing time with some dark skies, plenty of wildlife and a real Northumberland adventure. Neighbours were class too and our kids got on together so well.

Syntes ikke om Not much to dislike but there were a couple of really late arrivals, I mean 11pm and onwards... which was a bit disruptive but other than that really pleasant site.

Syntes om Lovely campsite with good facilities. Good, level, well serviced hard standing pitches. Nice location. Food options available are great and the owners were very chatty and happy to take questions whilst working the farm. We went in lambing season and got to see all aspects of Lambing and the kids learned first hand what farmers and sheep go through.

Syntes ikke om The only potential snag ( being picky), for a family with young children. No playing area (that we found) but there is a big field that was for tents they could run around/play in. But its away from hardstanding, but you can watch from up the hill. The facilities whilst great were limited so busy periods may see wait times to use. Not really a dislike for us, but helpful insight for others wishing to book this site.

Syntes om Pitches were level and sheltered. Near to everything on site as only small number of pitches. Great facilities that were clean and well maintained. Free hot showers, fire pit hire and wood available and a common room with microwave and warm safe place. Lovely walks withib and close to site. But also within 20mins of Keswick, Glenridding, Blencathra and winlatter forest. So much to do. Our kids loved it and we are heading back in the summer. Already booked.
