Syntes om Fabulous, large pitches that are easily defined. Big campsite but it doesn’t feel this way. Play area for children. Really loved the sound of all the birds as there are so many trees for them to live in. We heard owls at night which was fantastic. Nice dark skies too for star gazing. We’d definitely stay again.

Syntes om Really loved this campsite. It’s right in the countryside which means silence at night. It’s peaceful and tranquil. The on site shop is amazing! The stock is local and wide ranging. Pain au raisin were delicious in the morning! Facilities were very clean and you could pick your own spot to pitch for this night. Loved the environmental and recycling ethos of the site too. We took bikes and rode the canal path right from the site. We really had a lovely time.

Syntes om We liked this site and its proximity to the lake. The pitches were spacious even though we were on a standard pitch. Good site shop and lots of places to get food and drinks if you wanted. There are lots of wibit floats and a jump in tower/slide in the lake and no charge for this which we really liked. The site is in a beautiful location. Liked the layout of sanitary facilities and their individual cubicles with sinks in both the toilets and the showers. Hook ups easy to find and water very close to pitches which is very helpful.

Syntes ikke om Our only dislike was the sanitary facilities get blocked with sand and lake debris and therefore this floods the showers it also causes them to look a little ‘used’ later in the day.

Syntes om Very quiet site with only a few campers. Facilities were very clean. Peaceful environment with large pond. Very helpful staff who were able to explain things in local area.

Syntes om Very big pitches with lots of green shrubs and trees surrounding them. Super clean facilities. Plenty for children to do on site and a restaurant/bar. Stayed en route to Croatia after an evening crossing to Calais. Perfect site for a stop over and actually would stay longer in the future. Really loved the free range fluffy chickens roaming around!

Syntes om Small site behind pub. Very well kept pitches with plenty of space. Gravel meant no mud! Facilities look new and very clean. Absolutely loved the heated towel rail! The pub served very good food and portion sizes were enormous. Good location for the island. Owners taken time to recommend places on the island and walks in a folder by dishwashing. This was great and very helpful - thank you! Free Wi-Fi with excellent signal. There was absolutely nothing to complain about.

Syntes om Absolutely loved staying on the farm! Friendly site owners, large pitches and warm showers. Waking up to a field of sheep and cows mooing was great.

Syntes om We loved this campsite! It was immaculate. Hedges separating each spacious pitch. Beautiful riverside location. Spotless facilities and friendly staff. Amazing free Wi-Fi! Only stayed a night en route to Croatia but it’s on our list to return. Also loved the village just a short drive away.
